That building was not slammed into by a fuel laden jet airliner which blasted away the sprayed on protective insulation that is applied to every steel beam column and girder during construction, and which protects them from the intense heat of a fire...
One of the primary factors in the sagging, buckling and eventual failure of the steel bar joists that supported the floors of the WTC, was that the impact of the jet airliner blew the protective insulation off of them.
That was obviously not a factor in the much smaller and less intense fire in the LA building.

That building wasn't hit by a plane either .. YET, it collapsed in the exact same IMPOSSIBLE manner.
Are you aware that in order for uniform symmetrical collapse to occur, ALL the support beams must lose ALL integrity at the exact same MOMENT.
Explain how that happened 3 times on the same day .. an occurrence that NEVER happened before or after 9/11.
Obviously, being hit by a plane has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with it.
Question: A controlled demolition requires extensive set up operations. Prior to setting and wiring the explosive charges, a lot of smaller scale manual demolition has to take place. Often times, parts of exterior walls have to be removed, interior walls torn out and holes drilled into ground floor columns to provide places to plant the explosives. Then, miles of electrical wiring have to be strung from charge to charge, out the door or some other opening to a location safely away from the fall area where the debris will land.
The process takes several days and a crew of several people, even for a building a fraction of the size of WTC, which was open and doing regular business even on the morning of the attack.
How come none of the 3,000 people who died in the towers that day didn't see all of the preparation work and dust and personel required to accomplish such a task, as they came to and from work, not only that day, but on the days leading up to 9/11?
How did they hide what they were doing from the public?
I addressed that in an earlier post.... that building was subjected to the enormous shock wave and heat created by the two main towers collapsing.
Likely caused severe cracks and fissures in the lower floor support columns that were exacerbated by the intense heat of the burning rubble pile.

If that were true, wouldn't all the buildings in the area collapse .. AND, how does such an event cause uniform symmetrical collapse? If what you suggest is true, it would cause weakening of the structures .. all of them, not just the WTC buildings .. and would not result in a symmetrical collapse.

WTC cameras, locks, electricity turned off weekend before 9/11
Many of us can’t believe explosives were placed in the World Trade Center because it would be impossible to “sneak” them in with so many people watching.
This assumes a lot of things. First, it assumes that people are paying attention when “work” is going on in the Trade Center. Secondly, and more importantly, it assumes that even if people raise questions that someone is going to listen to them.
Scott Forbes, who was a senior database administrator for Fiduciary Trust, located on the 97th floor of the South Tower received a remarkable notice three weeks before the 9/11 attacks. The Port Authority of New York informed his company that there would be a “power down” on the weekend of Sept. 8 and 9, 2001. This would mean that all power would be off in the top half of the south tower for most of the weekend.
Forbes has called this unprecedented, because to have a data centre lose power for two days requires major preparations and disruption. He reports that as part of the power down, all security cameras and security door locks were non-operational for about 36 hours.
“Remember there were no security locks on doors or security cameras, so access was free unless a door was locked by a manual key. Seeing so many ‘strangers’ who didn’t work at the WTC was unusual,” Forbes said.
The work was claimed to be part of an upgrade to the Internet service in the building. No one has explained why this work required a complete cutting of electricity.
“There were guys in work clothes with huge tool boxes and reels of cable walking around the building that weekend,” he said.
There had also been a heightened security level at the towers for two weeks because of several alleged phone threats. The extra security, which included bomb-sniffing dogs, was removed on Sept. 6.
Forbes wrote to the Port Authority and to the 9/11 Commission to bring his suspicions about the power down to their attention. He never received any acknowledgement of his letters, and no mention of any of this made it into the 9/11 Commission Report.
