Low IQ on display

Trump Jr. asked two questions:
1. Are we under attack?
2. Has anyone looked into it?

He did not suggest that we were under attack. The results of the "looking into it" would do the suggesting or not. If the answer is that we were not attacked then that is the answer. If, however, the "looking into it" reveals that we were attacked, then it's a very good thing that he asked the question.

Trump Jr. cited circumstances that should be "looked into.". He never wrote "I think we're under attack" or "I submit that we have been attacked" or anything along the lines of suggesting that we were attacked. If anything, he suggested it be "looked into."

Read it again.

trump jr. is playing into MAGA fears that our country is unsafe by posing a hypothetical. Why is he even suggesting that we consider the reason for the derailment might be sabotage? Maybe JPP should question if YOU are genetically predisposed to shill for this corrupt family no matter how outrageous their claims.

Nope. Trump Jr. asked two questions:
1. Are we under attack?
2. Has anyone looked into it?

He did not pose any hypotheticals. He did not suggest that we were under attack. The results of any "looking into it" would do the suggesting or not. If the answer is that we were not attacked then that is the answer. If, however, the "looking into it" reveals that we were attacked, then it's a very good thing that he asked the question.

Your reading comprehension is poor. Trump Jr. did not suggest that it was sabotage. He suggested that it be looked into. He cited the circumstances as the reason for his suggestion that someone look into it. Did you not understand the suggestion that it be looked into, and instead think you were reading an argument for how sabotage was somehow perpetrated? When you read the following, what do you understand?

"Why have we not seen anyone even asking if this is perhaps retribution for our supposed attack on Nordstream 2?"

Reading shouldn't be that difficult.

Prevention is how we prevent accidents. If no brakes would have prevented this accident, then the railroad is at fault for overloading the train beyond the capacity to brake.

Like I said before, the brakes had nothing to do with a seized bearing. Nothing.

 STILL waiting, toodles.

Without looking it up, do you know what a slack adjuster is or what it does? How much air pressure is needed to release the brakes?
Air brakes systems are basically the same as the air brake systems on tractor trailers. I had a CDL, we took classes on them.

You focus so much on being right that you always forget to prove the truth.

The crew of a Norfolk Southern train that derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, became aware of an overheated axle just moments before the wreck and tried to stop the train, the National Transportation Safety Board said Thursday...

...As the train traveled through East Palestine on Feb. 3, a hot bearing detector along the railroad issued an alarm instructing the crew to slow down and stop to inspect a hot axle, according to the NTSB report. The train was traveling about 47 mph at the time of the derailment, below the maximum speed of 50 mph.

The report says:

  • An axle had been heating up as the train went down the tracks.
  • The train passed two other hot-bearing detectors starting 30 miles before East Palestine. The wheel bearing heated up over that time, but Norfolk Southern didn't consider the first two recorded temperatures to be critical.
  • Crew members tried to slow the train down and automatic brakes kicked in.

you should care more about being right.

you keep doubling down on wrong and looking like a fucking moron repeatedly.

I do my best without spreading hate and lies against Jews and African-Americans like you and your WSE buddies, Fredo.

Meh. I'm retired. Give me a single reason to give a shit what you and your WSE buddies think, Fredo. Seriously. Just one reason why I should care what a bunch of racist wannabe terrorists think. I'm curious.

Thanks for agreeing.

Fredo, the best thing you could do as an American is to turn yourself into the FBI and report all of your WSE terrorist friends before they murder Americans.

If you wait until they actually commit murder or, worse, use you to commit mass murder, then you are as bad as they are.

 Post #52, dear readers.

Once again, a MAGA mook stalls by regaling us with his personal "expertise" ... but to date cannot provide a simple burden of proof, as I did. So let's watch him carry on with the SOS while making accusations and declarations that he pulls from his mottled mental posterior.

What does that prove? There were alarms to a dry/heated bearing/axle. It got hot enough to weld itself together and locked up one side of the axle.
Why is it so difficult for you people to understand the brake system has nothing to do with the axle bearings?

They don't know because they are...low IQ?

Tell us then, oh Omnipresent One, what better proof is there than learning through experience? But then, you (think you) are an expert on everything.
You don't know what a slack adjuster is, much less how, why or what it does. It's part of the brake system. Again, it has nothing to do with an axle bearing.

I don't own a locomotive, but when it comes to brakes, I've discovered that the best way to maintain them is to use your own hands only to write checks or swipe a card.

Disc brakes are pretty easy to replace on most modern vehicles.

I would think brake pads would be difficult to replace on a rail car,
an axle bearing (and probably the whole axle) would need and be
even more difficult to replace. That would be a young man's job.

The Corvette has 13" Wilwoods. With the number of miles that it's driven each summer, they may last forever.
Same with the Michelin Pilot Sports.

As for the Grand Cherokee, I have a hard time refilling the washer fluid. My son comes over and does it.
Not all car guys are "hands on."
