Lying Joe Biden & the Dems to eliminate fossil fuels making America Energy Dependent

That has nothing to do with ethnicity (Hispanics are not a race) and did not occur in TX, OK, and ND.

TX, ND, and OK did the same production cuts VZ did in 2015-16.

Yet, you aren't calling them incompetent, even though they did the same thing VZ did...cut production.

WHO was doing the cutting didn't matter; what mattered is the big picture, which was a price war that was being waged.

Except the ones who lost their jobs in the oil industry

Those jobs were lost 8 years ago when OPEC waged a price war with US companies to kill the US Shale Industry...AND IT FUCKING WORKED.

OPEC is still standing, but US Shale sure ain't.

But that doesn't account for the same production drop among US oil producing states.

For some reason, you just aren't willing to accept the fact that there was an oil price war in 2014-16 waged by OPEC, who sacrificed VZ to kill US Shale.

AND IT WORKED.

Thanks to OPEC sacrificing one of its member states, they were able to kill the US Shale industry, which was making noise as OPEC's newest, biggest competitor.

False equivalency.

The U. S. was not incapable of producing like Venezuela was. It came back and became the world's leading producer of oil and gas. Venezuela has to bring in those evil capitalists to help it produce.

Did they think about whether the Venezuelan government was competent?

You still haven't established that it was incompetence that drove VZ's production down because you have yet to reconcile the fact that there was a price war happening at the same time.

You absolutely refuse to recognize that, and the reason is pretty obvious.

The Venezuelan oil industry couldn't produce. TX, OK, and ND did not have political corruption that destroyed their production capability and recovered to becoming the world's top oil producer.

False equivalency.

Nope.

Just because something ruins your argument doesn't mean there's a false equivalency...and furthermore, quite fucking hypocritical of you to accuse me of false equivalency when your entire guiding principle is BoTHSiDeRIsM, which is based exclusively on false equivalencies.

Again, NOT US, the multinational oil industry and they only did that because it meant the highest possible profits.

Venezuela has to bring in those evil capitalists to help it produce.

After doing what the capitalists wanted them to do, which was cut spending.

By now you should know that oil companies can increase supply or decrease it at will. They meter it out to meet as much profit as possible. A lot of oil price is determined by speculators in the commodity markets. Oil companies have enormous tracts of land to drill on. They have no need to do it now.

The Venezuelan oil industry couldn't produce.

It produced fine up until the price war.

Maduro was elected in 2013, you see on the chart how production doesn't drop off for another 3 years?

Or do you not know how to read a chart?

Again, had you done basic research you wouldn't have said something so fucking stupid.

They cut their oil production because it was causing them to fall farther behind on their budgets, so what if they have to ask for outside help today? The reason is because they did what you wanted them to do: CUT SPENDING.

TX, OK, and ND did not have political corruption that destroyed their production capability

You have yet to establish that is what killed VZ's production capability.

You just insist upon yourself while ignoring the data.

I've been saying the bolded this entire time, and it feels like I'm shouting into the void.

I don't believe a single one of those people even thought about that.

State or private oil company administration was probably WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down there on the list of reasons to leave VZ.

So why do YOU think people are leaving Venezuela (if they can)?

There is always a 'price war'. That's the very nature of competition.

You are making a false equivalency fallacy. You are not ruining any argument except your own.

Right, and the purpose of that competition is to make the most money possible...which is why they meter out exactly how much oil will produce the highest possible profit.

That is not in the consumers' best interest.

So once again, the dissonance crops up...you want cheaper oil, but you also want "competition".

You can't have both.
