And Christ was a rabbi? Not really. While some did all Him a "rabbi", or "teacher", he spoke against the OT commands at least 6 time I know of. He did teach against the OT on at least 6 occassions I know of. Woman at the well, and adultery, revenge v love your enemies, etc. So while He was genetically a Jew, spiritually He was not.

I have read the Bible several times in my obtaining a Masters degree in Theology, and a Doctorate in Bibliography. Now to address your ignorance.

As I said, the term "Rabbi" simply translated means "Teacher" as it says in John 1:38. Under Jewish law one must be a descendant of a Rabbi, or chosen to be one, being ordained by another rabbi, or following a course of study of Jewish texts such as the Talmud. The basic form of the rabbi developed in the Pharisaic and Talmudic era, when learned teachers assembled to codify Judaism's written and oral laws. The use of the term Rabbi in John 1:37 is a choice made by the translators. The Bible itself does not say, nor do any of the predictions considering The Christ say, He is a Rabbi. Or it may be that you just don't know what a Rabbi is.

One of the tragedies of fools like you is you cannot prove your bull shit so you spend your time denigrating the beliefs of others. And in doing so you just prove what I said to be correct, you, and a majority of the people, are pricks of the lowest order. If not for religion, many of which are really quite good if not for the pricks that join them, fools like you would still be dragging women off to a cave somewhere, and raping them. Or maybe you would just die in some "war". Then too, you could be someones slave.

Civilization depended on religion, not your form of animal worship, or being like animals.
