In order to commit adultery one has to be married, and have sex with one other then her husband/wife. Tamar was a widow, and slept with her father-in-law. Rahab was a prostitute who was never married. Bathsheba's husband was killed at the order of David. Not sure how you would define a "whore", but in each instance the purpose of having sex was the reward..
