The simple fact is that lefties will NEVER discuss the sizes of mask pores, viruses, or droplets. The difference in size between the enormous size of the mask pores and the tiny virus or droplet is like an elephant in the room, and it shows just how ridiculous the notion that masks do anything significant to protect someone from a virus is. The mask propaganda sounds great until you zoom in a little and see how enormous the pores are compared to the tiny virus.

There is no way lefties can EVER discuss HOW a mask works and still push mask propaganda. They will be forced to EVADE discussing HOW mask work.
 
The natural lefty reaction to the opening post is to evade or cheat. They will be compelled to post "something" in response to it, but nothing that addresses the topic. They will want to find a way to marginalize the topic without having to present a better argument, since cheating is so innate. Just look at anything that any lefty posts on this thread and you will see that they are cheating by evading posting a stronger argument than the one they are trying to marginalize.

Until you are capable and willing to discuss how brownian movement allows masks to stop particles smaller than the pores there is nothing to discuss because you are simply denying scientific facts. A 5 year old doesn't do the science of filtration.

So your contention is that as long as the holes are bigger than what is passing through then what is passing through will always pass through? Care to bet on that?

If I give you a ping pong ball gun and 100 ping pong balls, I will bet you that I can set up a chain link fence with 3 layers like a mask where every opening is larger than the ping pong balls and then I will pay you $100 for every ping pong ball that you get through the fence version of a mask and you give me $10 for every one you don't get at least 6" past the fence. I guarantee I will make money because of the way physics works with masks.

Tell me what conditions need to be present for brownian motion to filter a tiny virus using enormous mask pores. Particle size, pressure, pore/gap size, etc.

Can you explain HOW the enormous pores of masks filter out a tiny virus? Do you know how tiny a virus is compared to the enormous pores of cloth masks?

I have told you how stupid you are. I have tried to dumb it down so even you could understand...try to remember-

have you ever worn a mask and then walked around for a while in a store? did you notice it is kind of hard to get enough air even with a little exercise with your mask on? try to think what that means. it means that a mask slows down the ability of even ordinary air to get through to your mouth and nose, and ordinary air is MANY MANY MANY MANY TIMES SMALLER THAN COVID 19 VIRUS. try to imagine blowing out a candle without a mask on....how far could that be? 3' maybe? now think about trying it with a mask on- not even 1'.

just those two simple examples show how effective a mask is- first, it makes breathing in air and virus harder...second, it makes exhaling out your breath and any virus much harder and limits how far it might go. if you are infected, your breath is limited by the mask...if you are near an infected person, your mask limits how much you might can exhale. WIN/WIN.

Claims that masks work, or that they make it hard to breathe are not HOW masks work. You need to explain how exactly the enormous pores or openings of cheap cloth masks filter out tiny viruses. You have not even demonstrated that you know the size of the pores in cheap cloth masks or that you understand that these pores may be 1000 times larger than a virus. If you are defending the notion that the enormous pores of cheap cloth masks can filter out a tiny virus, you've got some explaining to do.
 
The idea that masks do not increase safety for a respiratory transmitted disease is simply Republican stupid.
Wear any mask and the contact between people and the virus must decrease. Perfect? No, but not taking any benefit
that is available is perfectly stupid.

Particle size for brownian motion when it comes to a mask is any particle that is of a size that it has brownian motion. ANY and ALL particles less than 500 nanometers would be included in this and the majority less than 1000 nanometers depending on air quality and composition.
Pressure is meaningless since the lung capacity of every human is such that it can't overcome brownian motion. Brownian motion occurs in air flowing at 100mph.
Pore/gap? What kind of an idiotic question is that? Pores and gap sizes don't matter since it is all about changing airflow using placement and size of fibers. The distance between fibers can be 10 times greater than a particle but if you change the airflow you can still block 90-95% of particles because of the way physics works.

Any other idiotic questions? You were told this a couple of months ago but it seems your alzheimers is getting worse. Your idiocy doesn't change the science. Your refusal to absorb even the most basic understanding of physics doesn't change how it works.

Impaction, interception and diffusion are how any filter works. From a mask you wear on your face to the filter you use in your furnace to the HEPA filters required to keep workers safe in hazardous environments. They all use the same science that has been tested and shown to work for decades. There is a standard for how they are tested. All are able to stop particles much smaller than the "pore/gap" size in the filters because they use actual science instead of the holes in your head.

This is absolutely NOT how masks work, it is just mask propaganda as predicted in the opening post. There is a good reason why you evade discussing HOW masks work. The opening post predicted what you just posted here, your post was like clockwork.
