The science and evidence is clear. Masks prevent the transmission of the virus. There is no debate unless you are anti-science and are warping your thoughts to back Trump's disastrous mishandling of Corona.There is no doubt that masks prevent you from spreading it on your droplets and it stops others droplets from reaching you. They work.
 
Deep down, every lefty knows that masks are a hoax, which is why no lefty disputes ANY part of the article that this thread is about. Lefties agree with the article so much that they are unwilling to challenge it in any way.

Now these are all current studies and I would challenge you to answer the criticisms of the older studies you linked that they are underpowered (the sample size were to small to answer the question) and that they fail to account for viral adherence.

So even though there is certainly a lack of scientific knowledge on transmission rates of COVID 19 the current peer reviewed literature is indicating that community wide use of face mask can reduce Community wide COVID 19 transmission rates by approximately 50%.

What do you have to say about that?

I think the contradictions to your position makes it abundantly clear on two things. #1. The science that wearing face masks is not effective at lowering transmission rates of viruses like COVID 19 is anything but conclusive as is indicated by the current peer reviewed research and #2. You suck at research.

BTW I’m not just some “Lefty” I have graduate education in human biology that included studies in microbiology, medical microbiology, virology and immunology. What’s your educational background in the life sciences?
