What part of the jury is still out do you fail to understand. Has anyone at the Miss Teen USA successfully sued Trump? So nothing has been proven in court. So its just gossip at this point. Right?

So what if the 'jury is still out'. That never stopped you before. The fact is Gaetz paid women to have sex with him. Looks like maybe one of those women turned out to be 17. You mess with the bull, you get the horns. This investigation (launched by the Trump Administration) stems from an investigation into an associate of Gaetz who was the Seminole County Tax Collector, but has now been charged with sex trafficking crimes. Most likely, the pimp that Gaetz did business with. He admits he paid for sex (don't pretend he didn't). He just claims they were all of age.

Where is your concern for the 17 year old, hypocrite?

I am willing to entertain the possibility he did nothing technically illegal.

But his equivocation and lawyerly parsing make it pretty clear that he fancied himself a sugar daddy for one or more teenage girls.

This may be nothing, but if he did date an underaged girl, the excuse he didn’t know often doesn’t fly. A friend of my son was convicted of statutory rape and served 4 years, and now has to register as a sex offender. He swears he thought she was of age, but the jury didn’t buy it.

Just goes to show, a 38 year old man should never, under any circumstances be thinking about dating teenage girls. It is wrong on many levels, and could possibly end up in hard prison time.

The DOJ probe into Gaetz is part of a wider probe into Joel Greenberg, a Florida tax collector, who was charged with sex trafficking a minor between the age of 14 and 17 last year.

New York Times reporter Katie Benner told MSNBC Gaetz has 'blown up' the alleged extortion investigation in an effort to divert attention away from the sex trafficking claims.

Gaetz is close to Trump and got engaged to food analyst Ginger Luckey, 26, at his Mar-a-Lago club in late December.

The FBI declined to comment Tuesday night while the DOJ did not return DailyMail.com's request for comment.
