Had a good long talk with my Ranger today....some of the take aways:

1) He was surprised how few people can finish this course

2) They lost the most in Moutain

3) The Weakest Links are those who do not have the physical capacity, which is 100% their fault.

4) Being forced to be alone with their thoughts is torture to so many of our young....they simply can not manage

5) The best part of this course is being with a group that comes together and accomplishes the mission better than anyone else.
 
OH....He will not do Airborne now, he will circle back for that...His Wife has been through enough....alone....pregnant.
