Name one thing you agree with the opposing side on.

I doubt it.

And of course you have set an impossible condition for relinquishing your hatred. Suggests a fear to move away from it, a weakness. As if it is a security blanket. A fear of arguing on the basis of merit alone.

And that is so ridiculous.

You have a good grasp of the issues, an ability to make excellent powerful points.

Why not let them stand on their own power?

because the enemy we fight is misinformation and the people who spread it for power

they must be vanquished

I hate lies and the lying liars who lie

lies destroy everything good

the fight for truth must be won

Ah. Okay, thank you. I have to stop letting my curiosity override anything else. I am so curious about others' thought processes around things like this.

mostly on the right

most of the left here don't back violence

the ones that do I give shit to

which party thinks people should not help other people?

which party thinks guns are the answer to everything?

it just makes sense they see violence as an answer

Just so you know .... In the charity world it's a well known fact that conservatives give more to
to charities than liberals do .

Democrats are Centrists. Virtually all Democrats are Capitalist. That is starting to change now, but Leftists are still a small minority in the DNC.

They've deported large numbers of illegals, they've build physical barriers in certain areas that were having lots of illegals pour in, they argued against amnesty, offered Trump money for increased security, and had cameras put up along the border.

all lies

You knuckle heads don’t you know what your representatives vote for or against? Apparently not. You simple go to the polls and find the D or R and vote like the sheep your representatives want you to be.
You will not hear in the media the bi-partisan bills that were passed in the senate.

Passed 92-8 the Natural Resources Management Act
Passed 77-23 the Strengthening Americans Security in the Middle East Act
Passed 87-12 the First Step Act
Passed 87-13 the Agricultural and Nutrition Act
And the list goes on.

If the media reported on the passage of any of these bills, I have to wonder what type of criticism against Trump there would be.

Your response makes no sense. What is a mainstream democrat? Do you mean a moderate? If you mean a moderate democrat than none are socialist.

That is a misleading comment.

More money for "charities" may come from conservatives than liberals...but phrased the way you did distorts the truth of the matter.

For one thing...the richest 10% our our population tend toward conservatism. They have more to give...but for the most part, the richest tend to give a smaller percentage of their wealth to charity than the poorer.

Secondly, conservatives tend to give more to churches...which means they give to steeples and ornaments and payments for sexual abuse...not truly charity.

Giving of personal time as a form of "charity giving" is also something that is easier for someone who does not have to spend as much time "earning" money needed for survival...so volunteer time comes more from conservatives than liberals.

Lastly, "charity" has another element that rings louder with the more liberal among us than with the more conservative...love and concern for each other. (A taste of that can be had by listening to the posts from the left and right here in JPP.)

I have and currently do volunteer in a variety of areas; it has been my experience from chatting with other volunteers that most of us tend to be left-leaning, not conservative in the least. I suppose it might depend on the type of organization ppl are volunteering for? Church groups would tend to be more conservative, probably. But those involved with the environment, wildlife, hospice, the elderly, the poor, children, and minorities are definitely not.

I am certainly left leaning, OW...and I have volunteered more than most.

But there is no doubt that most volunteer time comes from people who have more time to offer...who are not using up most of their time earning the money necessary to survive.

That was my point.

And a personal story for every occasion.

Ever occur to you that may depend on where you live? No? I didn't think so.

Agree. That's probably why most of us are retired and/or older.

I'm sure if I gravitated towards volunteer things like hunting/shooting sports -- or any other sports really -- or veterans' organizations and the like, I'd find more conservative-minded folks.
