If they know you are liberal they just have to go to one of their stupid memes

I have to not respond

Ands then they walk away thinking the liberal couldn’t come up with any response

When it was just me trying to avoid their stupid game

Broken minds

Those who act with cruelty towards others, online or not, are broken people.

You're about 10-20 years younger than me. Not having any kids, I was on the ground floor of the computer age and had several computers in the early 80s but didn't get online (such as it was) until the late 80s.

I always have had an ability to understand tech. Even in the 80's and 90's when we had a dedicated IT support staff, my fellow team members would come to me for support. The IT guys couldn't do anything except repair hardware or driver issues. They didn't know how to work a spreadsheet or word processing doc.

Then in the early 90's our company consolidated most of it's enterprise software to a Unix/RISC box. Because they thought I knew stuff, they gave me root access and made me the security officer. I then started playing with scripts, "small programs or shortcuts to perform a bunch of stuff". I started writing scripts for my colleagues who had repetitive tasks so they could cut down on the number of keystrokes.

I think it all comes down to math. I'm good with tech, I'm a good musician, etc. It comes down to math/logic skills.

WoW? What was that?

Okay, but using AOL to connect to the internet, you couldn't go to any bulletin boards from AOL, that was verboten.

In 1997, you had to have a dedicated TCP/IP connection to connect to bulliten boards. And there weren't many. By 1998, a whole slew of local and big company dial-up ISPs started.

That's when the bulletin boards were about peaking.

What OS did you use to connect to the internet in 1997?

By 1997 using a laptop to access both AOL and Compuserve.

It's a math-type field in computers. By the 80s I was mainly a user.

Not in that way. That seems like projection.

Okay, I can't resist and forgive me...Dimebag was awesome..Yow! The whole band was an enigma and awesome!

Did you have a Commodore 64 or an Atari?

Not me

I was dirt poor my hubby’s family had the Atari thing I think

I was never a gamer

I got a computer because I knew my son needed to become familiar with them back in the late 90s

The games helped them become computer comfortable

My hubby ended up loving gaming

So I had a house full of gamers

My hubby

My son

And all his buddies

A house full of people playing on this or that system and the computer

Games and TVs aplenty

What instruments do you play?

What instruments do you play?

Guitar mostly, for about 50 years. I like playing blues and rock mostly.. can do folk songs and kid songs of course. I own 3 guitars, two acoustic one electric. I am also a survivor of forced childhood piano lessons, so I dabble in piano, too but I don't own one.. my one br apt isn't big enough to fit one anyway.

How about you?

I think all the lib'ruls who post here are real......after all, every lib'rul out there is a mindless idiot.......and here you are........

"14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

I'm just tellin' ya something I already knew. Yes, I believe in God, and IMO the world runs according to the way he made it like a fine Swiss watch that isn't broken to this day and probably will until the end.

Karma is ingrained into this world and I haven't seen it fail yet. Remember: "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord."

I have come to realize that is true, also is the fact that if you steal, you lose twice as much as you stole. :dunno:

I do not doubt what God says, do you?

Do you really want to not forgive people, deshy? If you do, it only hurts you, and that's a fact of life. Let go and let God, babydoll.

You'll have a great weight lifted off of you.
