Oprah for Prez?

Tom is prone to exaggeration, not everyone, only Tom and yourself, hardly everyone. I certainly don’t think so
Ok...I'm glad she's not speaking for me. You are certainly free to support her irrationality and foul language if you like...
I have the utmost sympathy for any woman who has such uncontrollable rage..

What about Oprah's political stance on issues?

How would she govern? Does anyone know or are you all just guessing?

She has shown herself to be pretty liberal socially, but also an astute business person. I would think she would be socially liberal and economically moderate (maybe even conservative in many cases).

It's stupid for you to say liberals would vote based on color or gender while conservatives vote on issues and principle.

Didn't say that dumb ass. I said most liberals vote feelings instead of facts! Hillary is a perfect example all the baggage was there to see but you lefties voted for her none the less.

I know she supports a women’s choice, LGBT rights, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and women’s equality.

Trump had to do it and ultimately Oprah, Cuban and/or Zuckerberg would have to do the same and that's go through 18 months or more of running for President, debates etc. Ultimately we'd know whether any of them have the chops or not for the position.

But what they do have is large amounts of money and name recognition which can go a long way (but ultimately guarantees nothing)

You know perfectly well why, One, as a bulwark against overarching PC, identity politics and "isms" and two, to stop Clinton.

No, I do not know why. We have more pressing problems in the country than being or not being PC. I saw 17 candidates start on the republican ticket, every one of them more qualified than trump, yet this mancub got elected. I truly believe you (meaning GB) get a sanitized or incomplete version of what trump does and says, especially about his lying. Nobody, and I mean pols like Hillary, Obama, bush, reagan etc. has ever lied as much as trump. That's indisputable.

I have never seen her rage, I guess that is a matter of opinion as well. Do you lecture your friends on their use of foul language, if it’s so important to you? Tom uses the word cunt often, and Eagles post are generally profanity filled, or is it just your detractors that you find foul?

I'm sure some did. Many voted for him because they were anyone but Hillary? What's your point?
That being said: Are you with Harpo?
There would be such a frenzy...it would just be hilarious....I don't think she wants to go there, to be honest with you...
Not if she's smart, and I do think she is...

My point is that any of the 16 other contenders would have been a better choice than trump and it still boggles my mind that he's sitting in the WH. As for Oprah, I don't have an opinion on her running. As with anyone I'd need to see how she weighs up on the issues.

"Most liberals vote feelings instead of facts", another stupid remark. Keep 'em coming, you're batting a thousand. Hillary doesn't have one-tenth the baggage of trump and she has ten times his brains.

Yes, his success in real estate has translated well to other businesses. He loves debt, he’s called himself “the king of debt”.
It’s why I didn’t understand debt/deficit hawks supporting him

I would be very reluctant to support her because she has 0 experience in government.

One thing that I would differentiate her from Trump in that regard: while she has an ego, I don't think she would put any kind of priority on creating the kind of echo chamber that Trump seems to like. I think she would surround herself w/ qualified people and with people who would challenge her.

I suspect so..and she built her success herself.

All these wealthy Republicans who inherited big bucks from their families keep getting elected president and think they know how to help the middle and poor class!

May be stupid to you but the facts bear me out! Who did you vote for and why?

How are the poor and middle class helped Jarod?

Are we to assume then that won't be passing on anything to your children?
