15 thousand dollars would at least be enough to get you moved into a 10 bedroom mansion. And with what we spent on useless wars sense then, not to mention all the other costs involved, it would have been way more than enough to pay the mortgage payments too.

One of the things that makes me favor this approach is something I saw on a news program. I saw the filthy traitor Bill Gates sitting in front of a congressional committee and telling them that they should allow unlimited immigration of skilled foreign workers. No doubt for the most part to undercut the salaries an American worker would expect. Isn't it bad enough that we sent so many jobs overseas? Now we should import their workers? It's discusting!

So let's start actually PAYING students to go to college. Then treasonous slime like Bill Gates would have more skilled workers than they know what to do with. And the leftovers would likely be good for you economy and society in general.

For those stupid enough to worry about paying for it, consider this. Even if those foreign workers became citizens, chances are that they would still hold quite a bit of patriotic feeling towards the countries that they came from. Which would make them far more likely to send or sell trade and military secrets to the countries that they came from. Then, I can assure you, America would be paying a "pretty penny."

If you think college should be "free", there is an easy way to pay for it. YOU write a check with YOUR money. I will be OK with you doing that as it costs me nothing. In the end, you get what you want and so do it. Deal? Unless you're willing to do for some kid what his/her own parents won't do and do it with YOUR money, your claim that they should get it for nothing is meaningless.

and what would you do for the second month's rent......stop spending on wars again?.......why do liberals all sound the same....."we can balance the budget if we tax rich people 100% of everything they own.........and next year we'll do it again!".........

Oh, I see. You prefer Bill Gates approach and just flush Americans down the toilet. Piss off. Also, this country has no probem paying trillions of dollars to send men off to die in pointless wars. Maybe they think it is worth it in the pussy that it frees up. It's hard to say. But if you can pay money for that, you should be able to pay students to go to college. Also, if I write to write a check to go to college, it would bounce like a super ball. The same is probably true for most parents.

Some people might be able to take out loans to go to college. Maybe in some cases, it is even easy. Giving colleges more reason to raise tuition. Also, it may be easy like getting a loan for a home mortgage used to be. But back in 2008, that didn't end well. You seem to be real worried about your money. But with the U.S. being over 18 trillion dollars in debt and having around 65 trillion dollars worth of unfunded obligations, your money isn't worth shit. I will show you a picture of what your money basically is.

With what we spent on wars, we could make the down payment and the monthly payments into infinity. And the government would basically own the mansions. So the monthly payments would probably be around $2.00. And instead of sending soldiers off to war, have them and the hordes of unemployed, as well as the underemployed, build mansions.

Another thing is back in the day of FDR, the wealthy had 90% of their income taxed. But that didn't keep them from living the high life. Just how wealthy do you have to be. To the wealthy, there is no limit. Bill Gates makes $6849.60 every minute. Or $114.16 per second. Nobody is worth that kind of money. Would it kill the wealthy to use 100 dollar chips at a casino instead of 10,000 dollar chips? Also, there used to be an emperor of China who would have silk underclothing made for him. With the finest embroidery. They were worth their weight in gold. He would wear them once and throw them away.

You're the one that said you don't want to work. For those like you that have that attitude then demand others support a system that provides you things we earn, I don't have a problem flushing you down the toilet. That's where turds go.

Pointless or not is a matter of opinion. Whether or not the country can spend money on the military and wars isn't an opinion. It's a constitutionally delegated power of congress. Nowhere does the Constitution say a damn thing about someone having the right to go to college.

Since you can't write that check, you're the last one to say someone else should on your behalf. Many parents save for their kid's college. My wife and I did. When both daughters are out, we'll owe absolutely nothing. What scholarships don't pay, we will and that check won't bounce.

It's obvious your money isn't worth shit because you don't have any. That's what happens when you don't want to work and/or can't keep a job.
