Question for dipshit 3rd Party voters

Trump wont be the guy to be afraid of. IMO it will be the guy who comes AFTER Trump part 2.

Disagreed. The world always moves forward even if it's two steps forward and one step back. The philosophy of racism, division and hatred is a step back.

I support conservatism since I believe all changes, be they social or technical, should be carefully considered for long term effects. Example: thalidomide during pregnancy.

Conversely, too much conservatism stymies, if not stops, human progress, both social and technical. It's important to have a balance between conservatism and liberalism. Yin-Yang. Currently, too many people support the domination of one over the other. That always ends badly.

Disagreed. I like Nikki and believe she can help bridge the gap between Democrats and Republicans.

Interesting take,
but you're perhaps not familiar enough with the progressive liberal perspective
to understand how radically to the right of us that she actually is.

That broad couldn't even get arrested in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, DC, Chicago, San Francisco,

or any other place where there's a high concentration of voters in one place.

I'm sure that by Middle America standards, she may seem moderate

but many millions of people live near oceans, Oom.

Even when a candidate similar to Haley wins,
you have tens of millions of people who are going to hate her. and provide her no support.

Bill and Hilary Clinton were considered backward conservative mooks by Boston college town liberals.
Jimmy Carter couldn't win a primary in Boston.

We live in completely different worlds.
I've spent enough time in Red States to see it quite clearly.

It makes sense that the further Left (or Right) one moves, the further from the center they'll become.

In case you haven't noticed on the "Hate Doc Dutch" thread, all the Trumpers hate me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why they do just like it doesn't take a great mind to figure out why the extreme Lefties hate those like me as well.

This entire thread is about bullying people to vote for one extreme or the other.

There isn't much logic to it, I'll admit..

What I tell myself is that the 2-party system isn't working anymore. I don't expect the candidate I vote for to win - but maybe if enough people start voting 3rd party, we'll actually have a viable one someday.

I just can't vote for one of the 2 major parties anymore, barring the emergence of a transcendent, transformational leader who takes up one of the main party's banners. They haven't earned my vote in any way. They're both awful (Republicans are worse, for sure - but both are awful).

How about a vote to ensure we do not lose our democracy? That’s what is on the ballot. A bad time to start a new exercise regimen is when you are flatlining on the gurney.

Her raised hand on he debate stage is proof she is unqualified to lead. Deal breaker.
It's politics. She has to win the nomination before she can actually have a chance of being President.

Let's be honest; who would you rather have as a Republican President: Nikki or Donnie?

So the question was too uncomfortable for you to answer. I understand.

No, that was the appropriate answer. Grow the fuck up. Can you? Or are you just in a state of arrested development? You must be to act like such a child. Careful, if you act too childish, you may attract some unwanted pervert Conservative attention.

So you think it’s better to just go ahead and vote 3rd party.

My favorite thing about your posting style is that the more you try to sound like you know what you're talking about, the stupider your posts get. It's really quite amazing. It's like that other guy who tried to insult my intelligence using a bunch of misspelled words and incomplete sentences. You do the same thing.

It doesn't.

So there's your reason to not vote 3P. Now you accidentally acknowledge that your ideas really go nowhere and are impractical. So what makes you think you've got anything figured out, much less this?

t's every American citizen's civic duty to vote. IMO, every citizen should vote their conscience. If neither party represents their beliefs about what is best for America, then they should pick the Third Option...which is exactly what I plan unless the Republican Party regains its sanity such as nominating Nikki.

The major problem is that you don't know what's best for America, and you can't articulate anything. You can't articulate one clean policy position on anything because you condemn all sides so the only position you are backsliding into taking is that of the status quo because you are perfectly OK with the system operating as it is because it benefits you.

"Third Option"? What the fuck are you talking about? What is the "Third option" and how does that get through a Congress as divided along partisan lines as this one?

This is what I mean when I say you haven't thought any of this through. Or you have and don't want anything to really change.

No, that was the appropriate answer.
Grow the fuck up.
An imperative sentence in response to the question is neither appropriate or inappropriate. It's just a non-answer.
Who's the adult in the room with you right now?
A question is also not an answer. It's a question.
Grow the fuck up.
Sober up.

I don't claim to know what I'm talking about. I ask questions. You don't answer.

I almost never misspell words and my sentences are complete as well as grammatically correct. I’m not trying to insult your intelligence. You're doing it yourself.

^ Appears to me LV is on a serious days long drinking binge and out of nowhere he lashes out at the world for perceived injustices done to him.

Let's hope he gets the help he needs.

Disagreed, LV. OTOH, tell me why I should vote for a party, be it Democrat or Republican, that pushes ideas with which I disagree.

I have my opinions, LV: better education for all Americans. More tolerance for new ideas and lifestyles. More respect for science. <--use the Reaganism "Trust but verify". There are many more. I do support the status quo over policies that are wrong such as gun bans over better mental healthcare. Do the mental health care first and see if We, the People, still have a gun problem. Take it from there.

Third Option = Third Party. Election math* which erodes the ability of a Senator or Representative to claim they have a vast majority of support in their state or district. FWIW, a Congress divided by partisan lines is dysfunctional. Our is dysfunction. They've weaponized impeaching the President in an election year simply to let a pedophile win the nomination.

Disagreed on thinking it through, dear.

People should vote even if they know they are in the minority. Election math sends a message.

If 10 voters are eligible for an election but only 6 actually vote, the 6 votes will be "100%" of the voters. If 5 of them voted for Trump and 1 for Biden, then it would be 83%+ voting for Trump. If 8 voted, again with 5 voting for Trump, then Trump would still win but the percentage would be 62%+ for Trump. The more even the vote, the less power for the winners.

Remember when GW Bush declared 51% was a "mandate from the people"? All the smart people knew he was full of shit...and it's mostly the smart people with the money.

My advice to all Americans is to VOTE, even if in the minority. Skew the numbers. LOL

Disagreeing with both major parties is one understandable reason for voting for a peripheral candidate that can't win.
I'm beginning to get it.

If you honestly think that either major party's candidate will be equally bad, then a protest vote does no harm from your perspective.
Things are going to be bad regardless of which one wins.

My situation is completely dissimilar because my core values are completely dissimilar, Oom.

I know that the Democratic candidate for whom I'm voting is a mediocre choice at the very best,
but I also feel
that both the Republican candidate
as well as any fringe candidate
would make a substantially worse president than the Democratic nominee.

As much as I'll gag voting for Biden,
I'd probably vomit voting for anybody else on the ballot.

I don't see the new FDR running as a 3rd, 4th, or 5th party candidate, do you?

I'm not a Libertarian like you. Nothing even close.
I don't even understand your values, much less share them.
You understand that, right?

Even if you can't help yourself from making some subjective crack about my values,
you do understand that they barely overlap yours if at all.

I am a socially conservative fiscal socialist
and while Biden doesn't fit that description very well,
everybody else on the ballot will be even further from it.

I really can't explain it any clearer than that.

Thanks. It's not the man (except in Trump's case) but the party in power that is the problem. Another strategy is to always vote for the challenger regardless of party. Keep switching them out. The problem is most people won't do that.

I'm socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Neither major party fits those parameters.

This is precisely what I'm talking about when I say that you're fucking stupid and need to grow up.

You literally answered my question with a question of your own. So you broke your own stupid rule. Did you realize you even did that? Or do you just not care about being a hypocrite?

"An question is not an answer"...then why did you answer my question as to how your 3P POTUS' agenda gets advanced in a Congress where their party controls ZERO seats with a question of your own?

I'm convinced you are so old that you have early onset dementia...that is the only explanation for why you act the way you do.'

Grow up.
