Trump wont be the guy to be afraid of. IMO it will be the guy who comes AFTER Trump part 2.
Democrats have an obviously corrupt 80 year old with dementia running.

And the REALLY sad part is that he's by far the best candidate in the race to this point.
Disagreed. I like Nikki and believe she can help bridge the gap between Democrats and Republicans.
Interesting take,
but you're perhaps not familiar enough with the progressive liberal perspective
to understand how radically to the right of us that she actually is....
There isn't much logic to it, I'll admit..
What I tell myself is that the 2-party system isn't working anymore. I don't expect the candidate I vote for to win - but maybe if enough people start voting 3rd party, we'll actually have a viable one someday.
I just can't vote for one of the 2 major parties anymore, barring the emergence of a transcendent, transformational leader who takes up one of the main party's banners. They haven't earned my vote in any way. They're both awful (Republicans are worse, for sure - but both are awful).

It's politics. She has to win the nomination before she can actually have a chance of being President. Her raised hand on he debate stage is proof she is unqualified to lead. Deal breaker.

So the question was too uncomfortable for you to answer. I understand.
So you think it’s better to just go ahead and vote 3rd party.
Hey look the maggot is back
It doesn't.
t's every American citizen's civic duty to vote. IMO, every citizen should vote their conscience. If neither party represents their beliefs about what is best for America, then they should pick the Third Option...which is exactly what I plan unless the Republican Party regains its sanity such as nominating Nikki.
No, that was the appropriate answer.
An imperative sentence in response to the question is neither appropriate or inappropriate. It's just a non-answer.Grow the fuck up.
A question is also not an answer. It's a question.Who's the adult in the room with you right now?
Sober up.Grow the fuck up.
I don't claim to know what I'm talking about. I ask questions. You don't answer. My favorite thing about your posting style is that the more you try to sound like you know what you're talking about, the stupider your posts get.
I almost never misspell words and my sentences are complete as well as grammatically correct. I’m not trying to insult your intelligence. You're doing it yourself. It's like that other guy who tried to insult my intelligence using a bunch of misspelled words and incomplete sentences. You do the same thing.
Disagreed, LV. OTOH, tell me why I should vote for a party, be it Democrat or Republican, that pushes ideas with which I disagree. So there's your reason to not vote 3P. Now you accidentally acknowledge that your ideas really go nowhere and are impractical. So what makes you think you've got anything figured out, much less this?
The major problem is that you don't know what's best for America, and you can't articulate anything. You can't articulate one clean policy position on anything because you condemn all sides so the only position you are backsliding into taking is that of the status quo because you are perfectly OK with the system operating as it is because it benefits you.
"Third Option"? What the fuck are you talking about? What is the "Third option" and how does that get through a Congress as divided along partisan lines as this one?
This is what I mean when I say you haven't thought any of this through. Or you have and don't want anything to really change.
People should vote even if they know they are in the minority. Election math sends a message.
If 10 voters are eligible for an election but only 6 actually vote, the 6 votes will be "100%" of the voters. If 5 of them voted for Trump and 1 for Biden, then it would be 83%+ voting for Trump. If 8 voted, again with 5 voting for Trump, then Trump would still win but the percentage would be 62%+ for Trump. The more even the vote, the less power for the winners.
Remember when GW Bush declared 51% was a "mandate from the people"? All the smart people knew he was full of shit...and it's mostly the smart people with the money.
My advice to all Americans is to VOTE, even if in the minority. Skew the numbers. LOL

Thanks. It's not the man (except in Trump's case) but the party in power that is the problem. Another strategy is to always vote for the challenger regardless of party. Keep switching them out. The problem is most people won't do that.Disagreeing with both major parties is one understandable reason for voting for a peripheral candidate that can't win.
I'm beginning to get it.
If you honestly think that either major party's candidate will be equally bad, then a protest vote does no harm from your perspective.
Things are going to be bad regardless of which one wins. ...
.....I am a socially conservative fiscal socialist
and while Biden doesn't fit that description very well,
everybody else on the ballot will be even further from it.
I really can't explain it any clearer than that.
