Uh...no.Nordberg, you're being a Nordberg again. The Constitution has never been modified by the Supreme Court. The Constitution has only been changed by Congress, according to the process proscribed by the Constitution.
While the Supreme Court has no authority to change the Constitution, Congress has no authority to change the Constitution either.
Only the States have that authority. All Congress can do is suggest amendments for the States to ratify. The States ordained the Constitution to power. They created it. They are the only ones that can modify it. They are the only ones that can destroy it (and thus dissolve the federal government).
The States can ratify suggestions from Congress, or they can meet completely independent of Congress and modify the Constitution as they wish (a Constitutional Convention).
