Question for our gun enthusiast friends.

Nope, because banning guns deprives lawful citizens of their right to self defense, but banning abortions is always good because we're saying no to murder and we're not making it easier for the selfish degenerates to abort their unborn.

Missing the point.
If you think people would still be able to get guns, even if they're illegal, then do you also think people will still be able to get abortions even if they're illegal?

Yet no one has ever been able to point to a gun control law that has ever made things better. I've been asking that question for decades and have never gotten an answer that wasn't rooted in wishful thinking.

Western countries with more gun control generally have less gun violence, and less violence in general, than America.

The danger comes from people who don't use them responsibly and a system that lets pretty much anyone get a gun.

So I should be restricted because a few idiots use them irresponsibly?
And no, the "system" doesn't let just anyone get a gun. You can't mail
order a gun from Sears like you could years ago.
I live in rural America. Most of us here own at least one gun and it's very
rare that someone uses them irresponsibly. I won't be restricted because
idiots in the cities use them irresponsibly. It's my constitutional right to own a gun.

Yes. Part of living in a society means we all make some sacrifices for the greater good.

And no, the "system" doesn't let just anyone get a gun.

It does because of the private sales loophole. And even without that, background checks aren't stopping mentally ill people from buying guns.

It's my constitutional right to own a gun.

Muh constitution is just a piece of paper. The government can ignore it, which it already has many times.

I'm not against gun ownership. I think we need more gun control, but we shouldn't ban all guns. However, muh constitution has nothing to do with that.

Which law has prevented anything from occurring?

The laws in many other western cultures, dumbfuck. That’s why their incidence of gun deaths are so much lower.

Do you need a fucking picture to make it more obvious?

Then you should have no problem in showing that those laws have prevented firearm deaths from occurring.

Which law has prevented anything from occurring?
