Apparently you confuse protected groups of human beings with the label "race," rather than other designations, but want to hang that on liberals. By "protected," I mean protected by law from discrimination based on that characteristic. All four of the groups you mentioned therefore fall into that category. Muslims are protected under the laws of the United States by virtue of their religion; Mexicans and blacks by virtue of their genetic heritage; women by virtue of their gender. BTW, "Mexican" is not in itself a race as you want to think of it, although most of those with Hispanic DNA also possess Native American DNA. And again, NAs are also a protected class under U.S. law.

Well said. The mother of every single last one of us, known as "Mitochondrial Eve," lived in Africa ~100K-170K years ago. Her male corollary, Y-chromosomal Adam, also lived on that continent. Very cool stuff.
