You do realized that taxes are paid by anyone earning more than 12,100 in a year right? I paid 37 percent in 2017 plus my healthcare cost 1300 per month for my family of 4. According to Bloomberg the top 3 percent of tax payer paid the majority of federal income taxes. So the rich seem to be paying.

Of course, with Medicare for all, the increase in taxes would probably be less than the premiums you're paying now. Much of which just goes to making insurance company executives rich.

Every banana republic is an example of the results of unfettered capitalism, as was the U.S. at the end of the 19th century. We barely avoided the usual fate of unfettered capitalism, due to government regulation and the rise of unions.
And, as I've posted many times, neither pure capitalism nor pure socialism works. What seems to work best is taking bits of socialism to patch up the great gaping holes in capitalism and bits of capitalism to patch up the great gaping holes in socialism.

You can say that same about Trump. A couple of quarters with the rate of increase going up, then a few with it going down. 2 or 3% increase, then back down to 2 or even slightly less.

Quantitative easing had nothing to do with it right? AKA the artificial injection of money into the economy. Obama used it twice. Bond buying finally ended in I think october of 14.

Who saved? Costs rose across the board. The only possible savings come from subsidies on the affordable care act plans. This means that for one to save another has to pay more.

Your company paid more for your coverage because of obamacare. Many companies couldn't absorb that increase and were forced to cut or eliminate coverage.

My wife got leukemia and the ACA saved our asses. My single case does not relate that 30 million people without healthcare finally got it. It saved many, many lives and a lot of suffering. Obama actually got the foot in the door for national healthcare. Trump is cutting feet off. Our healthcare is terrible and it needs to be fixed.
It was a step to a kinder and gentler America. Trump would shut it all down if he could. He has no compassion and no care about anyone below him.
