Religions are mostly wrong

Why do you act like a 20something, Perry? Did you just come out in your 60s like Micawber? Are you taking any gender chemicals?

Yes, I have mental decline. Many people treat their bodies like a temple, but I treated mine like an amusement park. Now I'm suffering the consequences. Sad, but true.

Not all world religions have a creator deity or envision an eternal afterlife.

The evidence for the earliest Homo sapiens suggest they engaged in ritualized burials and some of the Paleolithic art seems to have spiritual significance. It seems to be hardwired into us.

I agree that a person can function perfectly well without practicing a religion.

FORGOT TO TELL EVERYONE WHAT ALL RELIGIOUS TEXTS YOU'VE READ. Also make sure to show pictures of your books.

I've only done that with you because you apparently think my posts are so impressive they could only have come from Wikipedia or Britannica.

You been introduced to about five percent of my library, and I spend two to three hours a day learning about history, science, philosophy, religion. That's why I can can compose posts in my own words, while you are generally frantically googling for little tidbits of information.

I ask because you seem very uneducated.

Frank is old, cranky and not always right, but he's well educated.

Do you think intelligence and education can recognize intelligence and education, Ms. BP?

If so, does it follow that less intelligent and less educated people can't recognize their own lack of intelligence and education?

You've mentioned having an art education. I make memes and haikus. Wouldn't it be just as easy for you to make an original, and unpublished, work of art about yourself, me, JPP or something related to your presence here?

Liar. You do it all the fuckin' time. You ALWAYS belabor what books you've read.

LOL. Lying sack of shit. You google just like everyone else. Only you don't want anyone thinking you don't. I caught you. Now you want to run and act as if you didn't.

LOLOLOL. hypocrite

So you like to run your mouth about religion, but you haven't actually read the canonical texts of world religions, outside the Christian bible.

I rarely google.

When I do I always try acknowledge googling for sources when I do.

The fact you are astounded that I can write in my own words and thoughts without surreptitiously consulting google is actually just a reflection of your limitations.

When you were posting as Perry PhD, you openly admittedly to Dutch that you were googling for tidbits of scientific information, using the excuse that you must have learned about it in college and just needed a review.

That is why we call you the Master Googler.

One has to know what to search for and if that search contradicts the authors premise. Too many here refuse to accept the fact that Google is a tool for the establishment narrative.

We have to form our own interpretation and analysis on a topic. Words and expression change so that's how forgeries of religious writings are spotted. Chrest is a follower of Christ and monks were caught changing the (e) to an (i) that better fit their own narrative. Google doesn't recognize the word chrest so Googlers won't even realize how lost they are.

That's why one religion will burn the books of another religion. No different than deleting or banning today.

Aren't PhD's a lot calmer and more logical than you, Perry?

Are you oK? Still scared that I might be gay? I understand. You have so much baggage. I just hope you aren't a gay basher. You seem like you get really upset about things like this.
Are you gay, Perry? Just gender confused? A woman in a man's body who desires men like Tom of Finland drew? What number gender would that be?

TBH, I think the number of genders should be infinite, not numbered. Whatever two or more consenting adults want to do. The main rule is to never hurt anyone.

What are your thoughts on the matter, Perry?

Still stinging that you didn't know about the Nicene Creed or the fact that the majority of the earth's Protestants adhere to it as a critical point of the faith?

I rarely google.

And when you do you lie about it.

When I do I always try acknowledge googling for sources when I do.

So why weren't you honest about the colligative properties discussion? You claim you only ever had high school chemistry which means you didn't learn it like that, you learned it like everyone else does and you wouldn't have mentioned entropic effects. That's a sign you googled. Look you can lie about it all you want, I've actually taught intro chemistry classes so I know you were googling.

(Or running to one of your books to hit up the index )

The fact you are astounded that I can write in my own words and thoughts without surreptitiously consulting google is actually just a reflection of your limitations.

You SELDOM write in your own words. 99% of the threads you start are nothing more than a quote from someone.

When you were posting as Perry PhD, you openly admittedly to Dutch that you were googling for tidbits of scientific information, using the excuse that you must have learned about it in college and just needed a review.

OF COURSE! Some of this stuff I haven't looked at for 40 years. But I'm not the one who flips their fuckin' lid and screams about googling like you do. THE ONLY REASON I'm TAKING YOU TO TASK FOR IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE ABOUT IT.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if people google stuff. It's when they use it like an accusation of wrong doing like you did that it becomes a deal.

That is why we call you the Master Googler.

You really are galled that I know more science and religion than you do. It has to hurt. Especially when you and Doc are afraid I'm gay that makes you even MORE MAD.

Some people recognize that Google is just a tool made available by a corporation seeking to make a profit. No different than Walmart or Chik-fil-A.

Boy howdy you sure are curious. Obsessed. You are a bigoted gay basher online and now you need to know if I'm gay. You NEEEEEED to know what kind of equipment I'm packin' down there too. Gosh you have a weird set of obsessions.

I wish it wasn't about me all the time, though.

I guess that's what I get for engaging with a creepy bastard like you online. Lesson learned.

Aren't PhD's a lot calmer and more logical than you, Perry?

PhD's are people. You have some bizarre cartoon view of what a PhD entails. That's to be expected. You don't understand anything about PhD's so you think you have some bead on what it means.

I'm curious why you are so obsessed with me. YOU were the one who started obsessing on my degree. I only ever mentioned it in passing ONCE and you jumped on it and ran with it. And here we are. You are constantly trying to say things like "A PhD would NEVER do this or that or the other thing" as if you have some sort of PhD FIELD GUIDE.

You really are pretty stupid. I wonder what you REALLY did for a living (other than the imaginary stuff you claim). It must have been really simple stuff because you seem to approach all topics simply and usually wrong.

I actually don't care if people Google. It's perfectly fine. It's when they get hypocritical about it by googling themselves and then lambasting others for doing it. Like Cypress did. He googled "freezing point depression" and came back to make it sound like he knew it all along (which OBVIOUSLY he didn't but he made it worse by trying to sound even smarter and invoking entropy...which is something 99.99999% of people who took high school chem would NEVER go to directly unless they had just googled it and wanted to impress others.)

I'm actually OK if you want to google the live long day. But don't be a fucking tool about it.

Cypress reads all this religions shit and he doesn't seem to understand basic things like "hypocrisy". He really just seems to buy books to put on his bookshelf so he can FEEL smart while not having the brains to BE smart.

Googling is fine. Especially if you want to make sure a point you are making is correct if you haven't studied something for 40 some odd years. I personally have NO ISSUE with googling information. It's fine. It's when Cypress got pissy and lambasted folks for googling then he clearly went and did it himself.

It's HYPOCRISY that is bad.
