Religions are mostly wrong

Still stinging that you didn't know about the Nicene Creed or the fact that the majority of the earth's Protestants adhere to it as a critical point of the faith?

And when you do you lie about it.

So why weren't you honest about the colligative properties discussion? You claim you only ever had high school chemistry which means you didn't learn it like that, you learned it like everyone else does and you wouldn't have mentioned entropic effects. That's a sign you googled. Look you can lie about it all you want, I've actually taught intro chemistry classes so I know you were googling.

(Or running to one of your books to hit up the index )

You SELDOM write in your own words. 99% of the threads you start are nothing more than a quote from someone.

OF COURSE! Some of this stuff I haven't looked at for 40 years. But I'm not the one who flips their fuckin' lid and screams about googling like you do. THE ONLY REASON I'm TAKING YOU TO TASK FOR IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE ABOUT IT.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if people google stuff. It's when they use it like an accusation of wrong doing like you did that it becomes a deal.

You really are galled that I know more science and religion than you do. It has to hurt. Especially when you and Doc are afraid I'm gay that makes you even MORE MAD.

I have been registered here since 2006, and if I was routinely plagiarizing from Google sources I would have been caught by now.

You run your mouth all the time about topics you haven't invested the hard work in learning on your own; e.g. you run your mouth about religion but never took the time to read any canonical religion texts outside the bible.

The reason you are astounded that my posts strike you as coming from Wikipedia is a projection of your own limitations. And it's also a reflection that I keep my mouth shut on topics I know nothing about, that's why I don't get caught bullshiting my way through a topic, or
getting reduced to frantically googling like Perry PhD does.

Boy howdy you sure are curious. Obsessed. You are a bigoted gay basher online and now you need to know if I'm gay.

You NEEEEEED to know what kind of equipment I'm packin' down there too. Gosh you have a weird set of obsessions.

I wish it wasn't about me all the time, though.

I guess that's what I get for engaging with a creepy bastard like you online. Lesson learned.

Yes, I am. Why does that make you fearful?

No, but I am curious about your preferred pronoun. Your equipment "down there" is irrelevant to me. I'm more curious about your mindset. You're not a cis male. That's all you've admitted to being. You obscure the rest.

You don't write like a person over 65. Especially one claiming to be highly educated.

I actually don't care if people Google. It's perfectly fine. It's when they get hypocritical about it by googling themselves and then lambasting others for doing it. Like Cypress did. He googled "freezing point depression" and came back to make it sound like he knew it all along (which OBVIOUSLY he didn't but he made it worse by trying to sound even smarter and invoking entropy...which is something 99.99999% of people who took high school chem would NEVER go to directly unless they had just googled it and wanted to impress others.)

I'm actually OK if you want to google the live long day. But don't be a fucking tool about it.

Cypress reads all this religions shit and he doesn't seem to understand basic things like "hypocrisy". He really just seems to buy books to put on his bookshelf so he can FEEL smart while not having the brains to BE smart.

Your jealousy of Cypress is obvious. Why you are jealous remains a mystery to me.

It's a tool.

Unlike you, Cypress understands he doesn't know everything and is curious about what others think. IMO, that's normal, intelligent behavior. Why does it bother you?

There is a crap load I don't know, which is why I give weight to your thoughts on psychology, Eagle's thoughts of aviation technology, etc.

The reason it's obvious that Perry PhD never got the PhD is because he is astonished by posts containing any knowledge that is commonly obtained in introductory level physics, chemistry, and history classes - and assumes somebody would have to google to obtain the information.

Entropy is freshman level inorganic chemistry, for god's sake! : ) It's not exotic Intel only available to the Masters of Google

I've never written anything that isn't common knowledge to students who took freshman and sophomore level science, history, religion classes, or devoted part of their adult life cultivating knowledge commonly available at the undergraduate level.

God you sound like a child. And since when is googling information "plagiarism"? Do you always cite the dictionary when you have to look up a word? God, You really need to grow up.

Yeah, I get it. You got caught short not knowing about Protestant Christian theology after you bragged NON STOP about reading so broadly in religion.

LOL. I've taught chemistry, son. You had a high school class. LOL. I know you for what you are.

LOL. The guy who didn't know about colligative properties now thinks he knows as much a sophomore level chemistry student. LOL.

The guy who didn't know that the Nicene Creed is adhered to by almost all Protestants in the world thinks he knows more about religion.

Wow. I've seen bragging but bullshitting like this is incredible to watch.

Some people recognize that Google is just a tool made available by a corporation seeking to make a profit. No different than Walmart or Chik-fil-A.
Google has been burying and deleting articles for over 20 years. No matter how good I am at using a search engine, the articles are gone. My memory is getting old so everything is fragmented. The good stuff is etched in my brain.

Googling is fine. Especially if you want to make sure a point you are making is correct if you haven't studied something for 40 some odd years. I personally have NO ISSUE with googling information. It's fine. It's when Cypress got pissy and lambasted folks for googling then he clearly went and did it himself.

It's HYPOCRISY that is bad.
You can't trust what you read on Google, especially when it comes to religions.

He's a queer duck.

Which is why it's good to use a few different search engines if you can't find what you are looking for. Nothing to get paranoid over.

You are very diligent at identifying sources you have googled info from for a post you composed.

I'll post links or give source credit to subject matter experts if I am using them as source material.

I assumed that kind of transparency is what all colleges instilled in us

Is that why you were dishonest about colligative properties?

Exactly. To do otherwise is plagiarism.

Homophobia runs ramping in old man! News at 11!

Wow. I'm surprised at how freaked out you are that someone you are talking to MIGHT be gay. It's kind of funny but not really. You oldsters and your homophobia are dinosaurs.
How old are you? You act under 35 and don't know phrases common from the 60s and 70s.

For people my age, "Queer duck" isn't about sexuality. It's about eccentricity or odd behavior.
https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/queer duck

For someone under 40, it's a gay webtoon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queer_Duck

Given your previous comments about society and gender, I suspect you are under 40.

Here's what bullshitting looks like:

When you posted as your sock puppet Jank, you wrote that you didn't have a science degree.

But when you posted as Perry PhD, you claimed to have been awarded a glorious geochem PhD.

Which time were you lying and bullshiting your ass off? Those claims are mutually exclusive.
