Remember how outraged Damocles (and others) were?

Awesome link, dude! You should read it.

From Factcheck:
Was she allowed to use a private server? No.

Did Clinton seek government approval to use a private server for her personal email account? No.

Did Clinton have a government email account? No. The FBI said she declined to have one set up for her.

Did Clinton’s emails contain classified information? Yes. More than 2,000 of the 30,490 emails Clinton turned over to the State Department in December 2014 contained classified information, including 110 emails in 52 email chains that contained classified information at the time they were sent or received, Comey said. The FBI director said “a very small number” of the emails containing classified information “bore markings indicating the presence of classified information,” contrary to Clinton’s claims that none was marked classified.

Hillary is a lot of things but she isn't stupid. This wasn't an accident; she did it deliberately.

Was it illegal for her to use a private server? No. it is the Department’s general policy that normal day-to-day operations be conducted on an authorized [automated information system]. Her use of a private server would have gotten her a reprimand and possibly fired but it wasn't illegal.

So for over 1900 emails, the email was not deemed classified until long after they were sent. There is a dispute as to the classification of a lot of those emails, for instance where the CIA deemed a story from the NYTimes contained classified information so an email that included the story should have been classified.

Your opinion of what she did deliberately doesn't count unless she is charged and you are on a jury. Based on the evidence, Comey felt he couldn't prove what you think.

There is no question that Hillary did things that violated policy. That is not however illegal. Violating the policy results in a civil penalty.

.
Dude, your own link says otherwise.

The point being that even if it was only one email, it's a violation that would get people fired or imprisoned...unless your last name is Clinton.

Hillary knew the rules and broke them anyways then used the "stupid woman" excuse when she got caught. Fine. I'm still not voting for a fucking moron.

You do understand that whether Hillary's server was hacked or not does not negate the fact that the law was broken?

This from Comey's testimony:
Now let me tell you what we found:

Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.

For example, seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received. These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters. There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those government employees with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation. In addition to this highly sensitive information, we also found information that was properly classified as Secret by the U.S. Intelligence Community at the time it was discussed on e-mail (that is, excluding the later “up-classified” e-mails).

None of these e-mails should have been on any kind of unclassified system, but their presence is especially concerning because all of these e-mails were housed on unclassified personal servers not even supported by full-time security staff, like those found at Departments and Agencies of the U.S. Government—or even with a commercial service like Gmail.

Exactly! It mystifies me why so many people can't see what the FBI themselves stated.

Is there any doubt that Hillary's private server in her home would be a target for foreign intelligence operatives all over the world?

Phan strikes me as an intelligent woman so it boggles the mind she can be so tunnel visioned on this subject.

Disagreed on Hillary.

Not a lawyer, but know lawyers have a code of ethics. Who would you respect more: A person who avoided even the appearance of impropriety or the person who skirted along the edges to get what they wanted?

Who avoided even the appearance of impropriety? I was speaking less about their actual behavior and the attention they are getting for that behavior.

Hillary and Zimmerman are two subjects that seem to be seered into the minds of those leaning hard to the left or right.

People can only react to the information they possess. I've been watching most of the afternoon watching both CNN and Fox shit their pants about Ukraine. Sometimes it's like they deliberately feed the frenzy...or they're just stupid. LOL

Not Hillary. LOL

Agreed that both parties often exaggerate into idiocy when it comes to their counterparts across the aisle.

Hence my inclusion of "it becomes my responsibility to report it if they sent it to that one instead of a more appropriate email inside a SCIF encryption"... That you "conveniently" ignore.

The reality was, Clinton used this email in lieu of more official paths to avoid the laws that require they be kept then had the server cleaned and used Bleachbit to ensure that evidence was destroyed.

You and I both know that it was inappropriate and illegal, and we also both know that if I had done the same thing she did when I worked at the NSA I would likely still be in Leavenworth today. (Remember that one guy who simply took a picture inside a sub and got a few years, yeah that was simply classified, not SCI stuff, that may give you a clue as to how seriously the government takes this if you aren't the wife of a President or otherwise seriously connected).

Tearing up some paper and having some papers at Mar-A-Lago notwithstanding, you are comparing Alligators to crystals and pretending that because they both "grow" they are the same thing. I have informed you what it would take to get me outraged. You have concluded that I am "safe" because "we will never know"... so this conversation is simply an exercise in you trying to excuse HillBillary of something you know was wrong.

I personally don't particularly care about the mental gymnastics you use to make yourself feel better about that kind of stuff. But you can rest assured that if an investigation finds that illegal stuff happened and that Trump won't be prosecuted simply because "nobody would prosecute" like Comey said then you will see me equally upset about it.

I don't like the idea that Justice applies to everyone unless your last name is the same as a President's. I think that makes us look like Russia or some other third world Banana Republic.

I’m not a fan of Hillary Clinton, and you know I’m no fan of Donald Trump. My point here is the hypocrisy, and I call it out when I see it. You are making excuses for Donald Trump, while you excoriated Hillary Clinton.

I hear all the time "if (my party) did that the media would be all over it but they ignore it when the (other party) does it." Members of both parties make that same claim.

They claim the "mainstream media is not covering that scandal" but then they also claim they don't read the mainstream media; so, how do they know what it is covering? They heard it on talk radio or cable news.

Agreed. Do you think it's just the most vocal making that claim or that they all believe it even if they don't say so?

Since there are niche "cable newz" channels for even the wackiest Americans, I fail to see how they can claim it's being hidden.

No, it’s not the same, you stated I would watch someone being killed and do nothing about it. It a little bit more of an insult then saying you deny facts. So the fuck you is back in your court.

Calling someone an idiot IS an insult. Back in your court.

Remember how outraged Damocles and the Trumppers were when Hillary received top secret emails on a server?

I remember how Damocles was upset and opined that had he done that he would have been sent to jail.

Now Trump is found to have have boxes containing top secret documents at Mar-A-Lago.... Not a peep from any of them!

Rules for thee but not for Republicans.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, does fake outrage better than Damo. He's so good at it.

If Hillary does it, he is outraged.

If Trump does it, he might casually mention he did not agree, if you call him out.

If Hillary does it, he is outraged.

Yeah, he's not alone in that, but his performance! It's his performance skills that put him on top of your average Hillary-hater. Damo should have went into acting. I've always thought so.
