The violation you are talking about might get someone fired. It would not get them sent to prison. It was against policy. It wasn't against the law. The thing you don't seem to understand is for anyone to go to prison a prosecutor has to prove the person violated the law as it is written. Comey stated he couldn't do that when it came to Clinton. Mueller basically stated that in part one of his report when it came to the Trump campaign and Russian collusion. Merely because you don't like what someone did isn't going to get anyone convicted in a court of law. The same thing will happen with Trump and the items he took from the WH because you have to prove intent. It happens with people all the time in government when it comes to people mishandling classified information. They are reprimanded, retrained and if they don't start handling the information properly they are fired. (unless you worked in the Trump WH according to some news reports.) The prosecutions for mishandling classified information almost always involve knowingly giving classified information to others that are known not to have clearance. People found to send classified information over non secure emails are not sent to prison. We can look at the emails released by State under the FOIA to show this is true. There are hundreds of redacted emails not sent to or from Hillary but by other people and none of those people were charged with a crime.

You keep repeating that she forwarded the emails containing classified info. The FBI stated that the majority of the emails were not forwarded but simply backed up when the device was attached.

Chelsea Manning violated the law because she willfully took classified information and passed it on to others. It was clearly marked as classified and she knew it was clearly marked as such. I am all for the law. The law requires that someone has to do it willfully. That means they had to have a provable intent. Trump is an idiot so I doubt they can prove intent when he took the documents. Was he wrong? Yes. Was it illegal? I doubt he would be prosecuted because it would be impossible to meet the legal standard for a crime.

I have made no excuses for anyone. If it comes out that Donald Trump also broke the law and put our security in jeopardy by putting SCI out unprotected I will be right there with you excoriating him. But the reality is, even you believe that "we will never know". Why are you making excuses for Trump?

You condemn HRC and it has not come out that she "broke the law" you are making assumptions to be against her, but hesitate to say anything about Trump.

An investigation proved that HRC had SCI on that server. So far even you understand that we have no such information about the papers at Mar-A-Lago. You even excused it by saying that "we will never know"...

The reality is, the only person who excused Trump in this thread is you. HRC broke the law and Comey caved to political pressure and refused to prosecute the powerful. In this case, you have nothing, admit it, tell me how "we will never know" so I "am safe" from having to say anything against Trump.

Seems consistency is well practiced by "the Damocles" (patent pending, patent pending, patent pending)... He seems to wait for evidence before "excoriating" folks.

Basically I took that information and informed you why I would be in prison if I had done what HillBillary did, and why I would never consider voting for her because of that. I also won't vote for Trump, but I won't say it was for him exposing SCI on an unsecured server because we have no evidence at all that is what he has done.

The evidence did not prove how SCI got on HRC's server, (much like we do not know how the documents got to Trump's home) you just assumed that. You hated her well before the email "scandal".

Dude, Hillary sent it to Huma. Like Hillary, Trump stole the documents to have them screened but was caught before they could be destroyed. Destroying everything would have been obvious obstruction. Selective destruction, like Hillary did with her emails, is less obvious and more difficult to prove.

As usual, Hillary was smart enough to get away with it and Trump was a dumbass.
