I know 100 people who lost their plans and can't get coverage.

BINGO!!
On the nosey!
MILLIONS of plans were grandfathered in and completely acceptable, until greedy insurance companies CHANGED tiny portions of the policies to render them invalid.
I know over a hundred people who lost their plans and are now uninsured.

I'd ask you for proof...but everyone already knows you don't "do" proof.
Let's just call it what it is...more unfounded third party HEARSAY from another partisan clown.

Total horseshitCorrect. The only difference is that gas will always be high, because the oil companies now shut down refineries whenever prices reach a low of app. $3.50/gallon.
As opposed to health insurance costs, which will continue to go down, as doctors stop writing orders for unnecessary tests/meds, and people have access to preventive care at no out of pocket cost, as opposed to waiting until treatment costs several thousands.

Now you're at least attempting to have an honest discussion. Congratulations. Obama gave insurance companies one chance to do the right thing. He handed them millions of new customers. They renegged on a lot of what was promised, but they aren't stupid. If they screw this up, a public option is the easiest way to destroy their little game.because the ACA was written to allow exactly that thing to happen in order to force people to single payer
By all means...enlighten us.Total horseshit
And just as the rising cost of gas was due to the greed of the Oil Companies, the rising cost of insurance is due to the greed of the Insurance Companies.
OK...I'll play. Where did they have insurance before? What type of plans did they carry?I know 100 people who lost their plans and can't get coverage.
nonsense.
If insurance companies had left the policies alone of people who already met the minimum requirement for the ACA, we wouldn't have this problem.
I kept my plan, until I got a better one this month. Don't blame ACA for insurance companies' policy re. grandfathered plans.

First...what made you think you would get her on your plan for free? If your policy includes dependent coverage, they have to take her. Nobody ever claimed it would be free. That's kind of funny.here is something I discovered this week......my daughter graduated from college and is trying to get into graduate school.....she cannot be included in my plan for free because she is not a full time student......we sat down and registered her for the ACA.....because she is working part time as a waitress she earns around $14k a year......she qualified for a subsidy.......but wait.....the application asks if she has student loans.....yes.....deduct the payments on her student loans......this brought her under $11,400 a year.......wait.....now her insurance is $211 a month?......something must be wrong....spent an hour and a half on hold with the government.......yes....its true.....in order for Obama care to help her with insurance she has to earn MORE than $11k a year or she doesn't qualify.......

If she cannot afford $200/month, simply show more money in tips, and she'll meet the threshold. BTW...$11,400 is more than $11,000
You got a premium increase every year...just like everyone else in the country.no shit?......I thought $11k was half of $11.4k......I take it from your comments you missed the point of the post....Obamacare does not help those who earn less.....as to being included free, as I recall, when they added her to my account in 2009, my premiums did not go up.....I certainly would have remembered a $200 a month premium increase.....
