Maybe, but the real question is, Can democracy survive Democrats?
While Euro Americans may remain our largest ethnic group for now, they are no longer the majority. At least not for very much longer.
There are Asian Americans and Native Americans, and African Americans and Latin Americans who combined are beginning to outnumber Euro Americans.
And these non Euro Americans, except for a few Cuban Batista-loyal fascists and a handful of displaced Vietnamese business people, are virtually all Democrats.
But not all of the Euro Americans are Republicans. A huge bunch of us educated, sophisticated whites are Democrats too.
The result--Republicans cannot control the nation under democracy. They're simply an ever-shrinking minority.
Without voter suppression, Republicans are a national non-factor.
So we see their desperation now as they try to invalidate a legitimate election.
We see their criminal machinations in the Georgia special elections.
This is the last gasp prayer of white supremacy.
The Republican party is on the precipice of hearing its death knell unless it can successfully overcome democracy.
That's what's at stake.
That's why a timid insistence to seek moderate solutions is, for Democrats, the same as working for the other side.
Compare 2000-2008; 2016-2020 v 1992-2000; 2008-2016Maybe, but the real question is, Can democracy survive Democrats?
13% of NYC is Jewish. I don't know about Arabs, but I don't see why white Arabs shouldn't be considered just as white as the white Europeans.
Staten Island is the one NYC borough that's actually pretty rural, which is why it tends to be more conservative.
The ways America has adopted in order to pretend that politics are not about class are profoundly dangerous. 'Race' is antiquated bullshit, and dividing people into groups that fight one another about their eye-colour or the size of their noses is exactly what be bosses have always done. Be better for all of us to stop playing Russian roulette in this nutty way and set to work to save the world from what capitalism has done to it before it's too late.
Expecting everybody to live together & get along id absurd & naive.
Bslkanization never works.
get lost troll
I would say in this specific instance, they were being racist.
But 90% of the BLM protests are peaceful and don't do shit like this. When Trump talks about BLM like this is all they do, he's dog whistling.

Most non-white voters live in states that already vote Democrat. What really needs to happen is the red states need to become more industrialized. That helps move people leftwards.
Maybe, but the real question is, Can democracy survive Democrats?
They'll move left even more so if they have access to affordable higher education, and access to good-paying jobs in non-manufacturing fields. Medicine/health care, IT, finance, business, etc. <-- And that is why the (R)s oppose such things.
So?While Euro Americans may remain our largest ethnic group for now, they are no longer the majority. At least not for very much longer.
There are Asian Americans and Native Americans, and African Americans and Latin Americans who combined are beginning to outnumber Euro Americans.
No they aren't.And these non Euro Americans, except for a few Cuban Batista-loyal fascists and a handful of displaced Vietnamese business people, are virtually all Democrats.
Correct. But not all of the Euro Americans are Republicans.
Stuff your bigotry. I would also suggest reading Romans 1:22 (and surrounding passages)A huge bunch of us educated, sophisticated whites are Democrats too.
Irrelevant. We are not a Democracy. The result--Republicans cannot control the nation under democracy.
No, they aren't.They're simply an ever-shrinking minority.
It is DEMOKKKRATS who suppress the (legal) voters...Without voter suppression, Republicans are a national non-factor.
Numerous States held a legitimate election. A handful of the States which did not (WI, MI, PA, and GA) are currently being sued for it.So we see their desperation now as they try to invalidate a legitimate election.
??? What are you even talking about?? Use your words... Form an argument...We see their criminal machinations in the Georgia special elections.
What "white supremacy"?? What are you even talking about? This is the last gasp prayer of white supremacy.
The USA is not a democracy. It is a republic. The Republican Party is doing just fine, although there will be A LOT of unhappy voters if they do not stick up for President Trump and stop the steal. THAT very well might be the death of the Republican Party, and of this country. The Republican party is on the precipice of hearing its death knell unless it can successfully overcome democracy.
No, the survival of our republic is at stake. The integrity of elections is at stake. The preservation of our freedoms is at stake. That's what's at stake.
???That's why a timid insistence to seek moderate solutions is, for Democrats, the same as working for the other side.
College only made me more racist.
Went to a college that was only 10% White.
Never saw so many obnoxious & rude people in my life.
Nah, you were racist before you got there. Going only confirmed your bias.
In my major, Native American Studies, I am one of the few white ppl in the program. Even my profs are native. I have never been treated as inferior, as though I don't belong, as though I should just go away you Euro-colonialist. That's because you are treated the way you treat others.
Old wise man saying: "If you encounter a rude jerk, chances are that he's a rude jerk. But if everyone you encounter is a rude jerk, chances are that YOU are the asshole."

GOP has to be the only major political party in the developed world which generally has not been able -- since the mid to late 20th century -- to convince a majority-plurality of voters that their ideas are superior to their political opponents. The Republicans have won the popular vote once in the last 32 years.
