Rittenhouse… likely not guilty.

Proof you're a liar. I'm not a lefty.
yeah, you actually are.

Now deny you support the murder of Americans as collateral damage
support? no. Accept? yes.

and you support the white supremacist militias.
more of your own racist projections....how many blacks have you called 'uncle tom'

Dude, your tune changed a lot the week after 1/6 but you are creeping back to you original position that it's okay to murder Americans as "collateral damage".
your leftist ideology is creeping back in. after the floyd murder, I wanted oathkeepers and three percenters to join together in support against police brutality and murder. I was let down by their affirmative support for 'law and order' bullshit. 1/6 cemented my exit from their beliefs..........but i'm sure you'll call that 'buyers remorse' because you see no redemption in anyone not left wing...........and yes, you are a leftist.

Yes, it's a threat. The jury will have to decide if it justified deadly force...especially considering it was an active shooter situation where Kyle already fired several shots and had already killed one person.
he was not an 'active shooter', he defended himself............

Now explain how the skateboard justifies shooting at a reporter and another bystander.
what the fuck are you talking about now

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/...huber-tried-to-stop-shooter-skateboard-2020-8
We’re walking down Sheridan, ‘bang, bang,’ hear gunshots go off,” she told WISN-TV. The shooter “ran up on somebody with an assault rifle, like he was just gonna tackle dude to the ground.”

Gittings told CNN that Huber first tried to get her out of the way.

“He pushed me out of the way, like he was telling me to run off, and I tried to grab him,” she said. “I should have been there, but there was going to be no changing his mind.”

Huber then did a “heroic thing” by chasing Rittenhouse, she told CNN. A criminal complaint filed on Thursday said that Rittenhouse took off after shooting Rosenbaum, but was chased by a group of people, including Huber.

It said also that Huber’s “skateboard makes contact with the defendant’s left shoulder,” while Huber himself was “trying to pull the gun away” from Rittenhouse.

oh, I see..........a leftist media reps skewed opinion.....tell me again you're not a leftist, you fucking liar

You have already questioned me so much that I doubt you served your full 4 year hitch. Did you get out on an OTH like several militia friends?

I served almost 6 years........and my discharge status is already public on here.........but let me guess, an OTH, in your mind, is the same as dishonorable......because you're an idiot leftist.....or just full of hate

Unless that guy actually was present and observed what happened, he is unlikely to be called as a witness. The defense would not allow it. I'm not even sure that he could testify as to what Rittenhouse said beforehand, unless it clearly shows his intent to kill "looters" and "rioters." It's likely that the prosecution has plenty of social media posts and other evidence showing both intent before and what he said about it afterwards.

Ryan <snicker> was there and knew Kyle. I think Ryan is someone who was concerned, but not a law breaker like Kyle's other militia friends.

Sure, imminent harm...but not imminent DEATH.

It's the imminent DEATH that justifies self defense, which you're not going to convince anyone death is imminent from a skateboard or plastic bag.

Killing someone over getting a bruise on your head isn't justifiable self defense.

this is why you should refrain from trying to discuss legal issues, mainly because you're an idiot.

a skateboard can fracture a skull and cause brain swelling easily, as well as breaking major bones. if you don't believe it, i'd be happy to demonstrate it on you

It will come down to the jury having to decide if Kyle and his white supremacist friends were hunting Americans who happened to be African-American that night.

All the racist testimony from other militia members and Facebook posts (again! Thanks Trump!) will go hard on Kyle.

you still don't want to understand legal procedures, big shock, but AFTER events will not be allowed..........

I'm guessing Rittenhouse will get acquitted, and frankly he probably should get acquitted based on the state of the law. It's going to be hard for a jury to conclusively decide, beyond a reasonable doubt, that he wasn't acting in self defense. The fact that he was a smooth-brained white-supremacist-military-fetishist-small-Dick-energy-LARPer is relevant to the story and how he should be treated by society going forward, but jurors may decide it isn't relevant (assuming they even get to hear about it).

I could be wrong and part of me hopes that I am, but part of me also hopes that if the law provides that he's entitled to claim self-defense under the circumstances he successfully claimed it. The law has the same effect whether popular or not, and the way to fix it is to fix the law, not to twist it so that someone gets wrongfully convicted, even if that person is an inveterate fucknut.

First degree murder. He should be in prison for life.

And also, Rittenhouse would need to testify that he felt his life was threatened by a skateboard, and he would need to convince the jury of that too...which is going to be hard to do if he doesn't take the stand.

Because the prosecution will then ask, "well, if it was clearly justifiable self-defense, how come Kyle won't testify to his state of mind that evening?"

The self-defense defense is going to sink him.

the video alone will be proof of the claim......no testimony involved. you lose, moron

You are a lefty unless you believe Obama was born in Africa, Ted Cruz's father was involved in the JFK assassination, there was voter fraud and Trump really won, the people that attacked the Capitol were 1) Antifa and BLM; 2) FBI agents 3) peaceful tourists hugging the Capitol police, Trump's phone call to Zelensky was "perfect", there were more people at Trump's inauguration than any president ever.....

Actually, no.

How did the self-defense defense work out for your buddy James Fields in Charlottesville?

Because he used the same defense Kyle is using here, and because he didn't take the stand in his own defense, was convicted and is serving life in prison.

Ryan <snicker> was there and knew Kyle. I think Ryan is someone who was concerned, but not a law breaker like Kyle's other militia friends.

His testimony may be limited. The courts bend over backwards to ensure that the jury isn't allowed to hear anything prejudicial against the defendant. But if they were talking about why they were there and what Rittenhouse intended to do with his illegal firearm, that might be allowed. It'll be interesting to see how this goes. Is it going to be televised, do you know?

The prosecution has to show and convince the jury Rittenhouse acted maliciously and wasn't being threatened

Which is easy to do since they can simply point to the first person who was shot in the back before the guy tried to disarm Kyle with his skateboard.

Just showing tape of the incident where you have several men attacking Rittenhouse, one with a skateboard, another with a pistol in hand, and a third trying to stomp on him

Did all of that happen before or after he had already shot someone in the back?

So those three people were trying to disarm him because he had already shot and killed someone.

Kyle was an active shooter, and thus has no right to self defense.

Unless that guy actually was present and observed what happened, he is unlikely to be called as a witness. The defense would not allow it. And just when I thought you weren't capable of rational thought, you come on here with rational thought.............

You forgot your sarcasm font and the  at the end. lol

apples and oranges.............the two situations aren't even comparable.........

Just showing tape of the incident where you have several men attacking Rittenhouse, one with a skateboard, another with a pistol in hand, and a third trying to stomp on him is going to be a hard sell to a reasonable jury that the kid didn't think he was going to be either beaten to a pulp, possibly have his rifle stolen, or even lose his life.

Yeah maybe...but what's more likely to happen is that the jury will be informed of what Kyle did in the moments prior to that attack.

You're making it sound like he was attacked unprovoked, but he had already shot someone in the back when those people tried to disarm him.

So he was the active shooter...that white supremacist is right, the people Kyle killed were heroes.

the firearm wasn't illegal. this has been shown repeatedly
