Here you can see the Ozarks. The Ouachitas are where my home is. I still say they were from somewhere near Bugtussle, AR. :)

Edit: Guess I have to change my choice to Bugtussle, MO since there doesn't appear to be a Bugtussle, AR. Hey, maybe they were from a fictional Bugtussle. ;)

Isn't amazing how threads get hijacked? We start out complementing those of different political beliefs and end up talking about doodle bugs.

You mentioned doodle bugs!! Oh and doodle bugs mean something entirely different over here, it was the nickname given to the V1 pulse jet flying bomb.

Back on topic. I'd like to compliment and Thank Damo.

He drives me nuts when he dismisses anyone advocating for a government service as desiring a socialist paradise (except, inexplicably, the military our nations largest socialist institution.) while advocating Libertarianism and simultaneously being clueless about anarco-libertarianisms antecedents in the communist movement.

Having said that without Damo we simply would not have our little disfunctional family on the interweb. Thank you Damo.

Respectfully, my source disagrees

Season 9's episode, The Beverly Hillbillies: The Clampetts Meet Robert Audubon Getty Crockett (1971) revealed that the Clampett's hail from Limestone, Tennessee, and not the Ozarks as previously assumed.
