I didn't say you were "soft" on them. I said that the only way to ensure that they will not victimize children is to remove them from any access to children. I believe that is the only responsible decision to make.

Urination in public is not molestation, as far as I know, I couldn't see even prison time for that guy who can't quite make it to a restroom and uses an alley, let alone castration.

Yeah, but we were talking about sex offenders. Isn't urinating in a public one of the lower tier sex offender crime in some states?

Damo, I have compassion for everyone. You've got to understand. I've compassion for victim, and everyone else. It really impares my judgement.
 
One of the most interesting things about sex offenders I have found is that legislators and other individuals who seem to have an unusual strong fixation on them, and imagine torturing them and such, are often found to be child molesters after several years. IE Foley.

Not that I'm directing this at any individual poster here.

But they are not molesting children. That would be a separate crime. How many times of peeing in public do you think should gain you a lifetime sentence of chemical castration with all the side effects? And what if they were women? Depo-provarim doesn't really work that way in them.... Not all who predate on children are men.

Damo, I wasn't saying that people who urinate in public should be castrated! You misread me.

Women child molesters? Seriously, that's like 0.1% of them. It isn't sexist to just realize that women simply don't commit many crimes, especially sex crimes. They just don't have the sadism in them.

You know Water, that’s all well and good, but I’m not talking about peeing in public, it shouldn’t be a sex crime, unless it’s purposely done in front of somebody.

I’m talking about sodomizing two year olds, systemically destroying the mind and emotional state of a human being for a period of years, kidnapping 9 year olds, and on and on and on.

So stop talking about pissing in public as if it had a bearing on what I am referring to. If you stick your penis into a two year old, one time…you don’t ever get out, period. Or a nine year old.

We can use a little goddamned common sense.

Really, can you give one example of this?

And I didn't see anyone here say they were "looking to torture them". I know I'm not. I'm not looking to torture anyone. I simply want them kept off of the streets, period.
