Realistically though how many people walk around their home with their gun on them 24/7?
 
In my house right now, there is a loaded .410 Judge in the living room, up so only my wife and I can reach it, in the bedroom, a Shotgun with birdshot. Come on in home invader, I will send you home with shotgun wounds.

I don't want rounds going through my wall with children here. my only handgun is a hand cannon, and I will not fire it indoors. The Judge is, IMO a good close quarters weapon, and my Mossberg 500 is easy to use, and will knock a MF for a loop, even with bird shot.

You can get shotslugs for the Judge.
Load then at chamber 3 and 6.
If someone's stupid enough to continue with their plan, after 1 and 2, the slug will definetly ruin their day.

You don't want to get hit in the face at close range with a four ten do you? Or close range with a 12 even if it is 6 or 7.5s

A body shot at under 20 feet with #2 birdshot would almost certainly be lethal or at least extremely immobilising.
 
Home defense is a right.
States that deny that right empower this kind of behavior!!

I understand, and I too worry about over penetration. But a 5.56 carbine properly loaded is less likely to over penetrate and still provide a much greater deal of lethality.

I don't want to get hit with a slingshot, doesn't mean I'd recommend one for home defense.

You did say that ALL GUN OWNERS did not defend their homes/families instead they just killed their kids, that was what you said "YES EXACTLY" to wasn't it?

You want to ban the legal ownership of guns in order to empower violent criminals.
Can there be any other reason to ban guns?
