Schnatter says controversy reflects league’s poor leadership
The stock tumbled on Wednesday after sales missed estimates

Papa John’s International Inc. founder John Schnatter is going after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, saying weak handling of the league’s national-anthem controversy has hammered sales of his pizza.

Terrible pizza, but I've boycotted them for years because the guy is a right-winger who funds right-wing causes.

Papa John's is bottom of the list, with Cici's.

I don't think there are any very good chains - luckily I can get a lot of good independent pizzas. 'Pizza guys' is good. Pizza Hut and Domino's not that good, but better than the worst. Round Table a little better but not very good.

I want to like Papa Murphy's - fresh made quality ingredients - but the taste is just not good (but they have the best cookie dough).

Supermarket Pizza is better than most chains. Costco is 'ok'. So - go independent.

We've actually got this here:
Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria is a pizzeria and brewery located in Anchorage, Alaska currently ranked as the 3rd best pizzeria in the United States after Juliana's Pizza in New York City and Pizza Time of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.[1][2][3]

It's good but I get tired of that with overdoing it.

I grew-up with Papa Murphy's, since that's what my parents liked to get when it came to town. When I first heard of Papa John's, I assumed it must be take & bake, as well. There is one on base, so people order it for the break room all the time, and I've become accustomed. Costco pizza is also quite popular.

I don't think Papa John's is bad pizza for a chain. About like Uncle Joe's :dunno: I don't really order pizza that much. It starts to taste all the same if you eat too much.
Not Moose’s Tooth or the Hearth, it’s only when you eat chain store pizza.

Oh well Papa John's, nothing lasts forever....

I've never had Papa John's pizza so I can't comment on if it's shitty or not. I prefer homemade pizza, mmmmmm, pesto, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cheese blend, mmmmm ;)

So what chain pizza do you favor?
Why the fuck would anyone buy 'chain' pizza? There aren't any Italians in Alaska?

I am told that there are pizza shops out west that ship truckloads of NY water out there, because it makes a big difference in the crust.

Must be from me pissing in the reservoirs that feed NYC

There is a great authentic pizza parlor on Fireweed Road in Anchorage, Mario T’s.

My friend owns one of those places in Las Vegas.

I don't know how it works in the world of Trumpettes and Teabaggers, but in my experience you know who some of the most despised people at work are?

That's right, people who blame others for their lack of performance.
