Don't leave on account of Rob.
I would, had he asked. I just don't want to lose a good poster over such an inane thing. You know Damo, when rob was "apologizing" he should have asked you to change the thread name.
An apology implies some kind of regret for your actions.
I didn't see it.
thanks rob

Reading the thread would show that nobody here condones this.

AVENTURA, Fla. - Florida Marlins pitcher Scott Olsen was arrested early Saturday after refusing to pull over and getting into a fight with police officers.
The 23-year-old Olsen was booked into the Miami-Dade county jail on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest with violence and fleeing and eluding a police officer. He remained in jail on Saturday afternoon.
The arrest was the latest in a string of troubles for the left-hander. Friday night was Olsen's return from a two-game suspension without pay after a confrontation with teammate and fellow pitcher Sergio Mitre.
Olsen received a black eye last season from his friend and former teammate, reliever Randy Messenger, in an off-the-field confrontation in St. Petersburg. He also was fined an unspecified amount in June for making an obscene gesture toward fans in Milwaukee.
The Florida Marlins do not plan to immediately discipline left-hander Scott Olsen for his alleged scuffle with police and arrest on drunken driving charges, the Miami Herald reported.
Manager Fredi Gonzalez said Olsen would make his scheduled start Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks and remain in the rotation the rest of the season, according to the Herald.
I would, had he asked. I just don't want to lose a good poster over such an inane thing.

I still believe that you are leaving over a post of a rare visitor of the board who has been excoriated for his use of the word and will likely never be able to live it down, much like WM.I'll just add this on my way out the door ..
Unbeknownst to those who are slaves to MSM, there is a lot of support for Vick. I live in Atlanta and I've never seen more Vick jerseys than I have in the past week. I don't wear sports jerseys, but I bought a Vick jersey which I bought specifically for when I walk my dog, a dog that helped save my life.
I had to settle for an XL because Foot Locker was out of Large.
I've trained dogs and have shown Bouviers for 30 years. It helped pay my way through college so I never needed a student loan. I love dogs, but at the same time this entire Visk saga is full of hypocrisy and double standards.
Many of those calling for Vick's head are the same ones who said that it was wrong to convict the Duke team before they had their day in court, and I agreed with that. However, they have no problem convicting Vick before his day in court.
The fact that he was indicted says nothing. The feds can indict a chicken sandwich and there are a plethora of cases where that indictment went nowhere and the accussed were proven innocent. He is innocent until proven guilty. However, I have no doubt that even if he is proven innocent there will be those who claim it was because he had a good lawyer or "there were too many blacks on the jury."
The duplicity is sickening.
"But it took place in a house that he owned" .. sure it did .. but another Atlanta, now Seattle football player, Patrick Kerney, who isn't black, had a rape take place in his house .. while he was at home. He was never arrested, booked, or even questioned .. and the media hardly spoke of it.

Had this been Allen Iverson, Vick, or just about any other black player it would be splattered all over MSM.
Then, I come here and ... "NIGGER VICK"
Son-of-a-bitch
That being said, I'm outta here.
Pretty much. There always seems to be one person. And he hasn't had more than a few posts per quarter...Seriously. This dude shouldn't leave because Rob was an @sshole. I don't think I've ever been on a message board that didn't have at least one racist. Best way to deal with these assholes to to condemn them, and laugh at them.

Let me be perfectly honest. Equating dog-fighting to a dui/resisting arrest/fight with police is dishonest on your part. Besides, who the hell is Scott Olson? That might be one reason he didn't get the same attention. Now, had Roger Clemens did that, you'd see a lot more shit about it in the media.
These dogs are trained throughout their whole lives to kill other animals and specifically fight with other dogs. They are killed when they lose, and not treated properly when they win. I think it is a stretch to compare that kind of torture of a living creature to a one-night drunken drive and fight with police.
Did you hear Fred Evans of the Miami Dolphins got into a fight with police. Funny I never heard a peep about that. Probably because he wasn't high profile like Vick. It isn't the race, Vick, or shall I say... Ron Mexico... is always in trouble, and this time people are going nuts because of the charges. Its fucking cruel to do things like that to a dog.
I'll just add this on my way out the door ..

You know Dave I agree, but it's cruel to rape a woman too, and it is true that the same people who are screaming about this, were foaming at the mouth with outrage that the Duke boys were being tried and convicted in the press.
You see it with Rob insisting that everyone call Nike. I'm not calling Nike ok? Nike didn't kill any dogs. Give them a chance to respond, and if they feel they need more evidence, then that is their right too.
Now, if he is found guilty, I certainly hope he gets the maximum penalty. The charges are absolutely disgusting, and I wouldn't want someone who could do this on the street.
I would, had he asked. I just don't want to lose a good poster over such an inane thing.
