nope, Your name has to be on the poll book. they do give you a voter ID. Then you have to sign and your signature is compared to the one in the book. So no, you do not wander in.

I dropped my ballot off at the county clerk's office. Going to the poll is a big waste of time, let alone the serious health risk.

It was a 'democracy' based on being a 'Shareholder'. Like, you had to 'own Property' to Vote.
And, it had to pass the 'Board of Directors' (Congress) to be legit.
