The higher earners who have more education would fund most of the cost anyway. So what we have are (mostly) low wage earning, less educated people protesting a program that would have benefited them more than the people they resent for having an education.

But the best way to make college even more expensive (skyrocketing costs are already out of control)
is to just have the government pay for it. Colleges can then just soak the government.
There are scholarships and student loans that can pay. But if you dont get a STEM degree don't be surprised
at how little you earn compared to your debt
get a serious degree, or get a trade. liberal arts and "education" are a waste of your time and money

Not only should College not be free to the customer, but we need to massively shrink the Universities....something like 35% of the capacity should be eliminated.....and admissions should go back to be based upon academic merit. The bureaucracies of the universities that live need to be slashed by a good 20%, starting with all of the Woke Commissars.
