No, it isn't. Indications right now are that natural immunity lasts less than a year.
But the onus isn't on me, or anyone who claims that. If your entire plan hinges on long-lasting natural immunity - the foundation of that plan should be proof that immunity is, in fact, long lasting.
This isn't a plan right now. Show me that immunity lasts for years, and I'm on board. Otherwise, it's a "what if" plan.

There is no proof that the virus was human created. And regardless of it's orgination, that doesn't matter now. How we handle the virus is up to us.
There is solid evidence that taking logical measures to prevent spread saves lives.
Our initial response was to pretend it wasn't happening, that it wasn't so bad, that it would go away by Easter, that if we don't test then we don't have high numbers (praising the beauty of ignorance,) that if we swallow bleach and shine lights up inside that would fix it
, that hydroxy was the answer, and finally that horse dewormer was the answer. All of that was nonsense.
Ignoring the pandemic is extremely foolish. That just makes it worse and makes it last longer. Our best response is logic based. Logically, a unified response directed by knowledgeable people whose job it is to determine the best response IS the best response.
Our problem is we have people like Tucker Carlson making a lot of money by telling government haters what they want to hear. Don't listen to them.
We have to support our government. It is the only thing which stands between having a country and not having a country.
It is sadly popular among the misinformed to hate and distrust our government. That unpatriotic selfishness is one of the main problems in our country.
Because of RW talking heads making lots of money by spewing rumors, and those who refuse to cooperate because hatred clouds their thinking, we do not have a unified response to the pandemic.
That is why things are so bad.
If everyone got vaccinated, kept their distance, and wore masks, just like Dr Fauci said to do, we would be able to get control of the pandemic.
Please think of what is best for America. Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. And the answer is to listen to Dr Fauci and everyone else telling you the right thing to do so we can have a unified response.

Why would I? It may not exist - but there are boosters.
As far as we know right now, natural immunity is strong for 5 months. After that, it seems to start to diminish. Estimates are that it really lasts under a year.
Of all of the mystifying things that are associated w/ the reaction to COVID, vaccines becoming a "liberal" thing is one of the most inexplicable.

Natural immunity? Who knows. I've asked a bunch of times on this thread alone. No one knows how long it lasts, or how long it might take to get herd immunity through natural immunity.
