Well, to get into a US residency program it was a huge help to "shadow" an American practitioner for a month or so and get a recommendation.
They came from many countries and the Caribbean. .. Lebanon, Sudan, Romania, Syria, Kuwait.. lots from Eastern Europe and India.

Which is wild stuff, given that many who get part or all of their medical degrees "abroad" have to get them from one of the major European/Baltic region countries to be taken seriously in the USA. To date, a doctor from China STILL cannot be accredited as such in America if they insist upon incorporating herbal and acupuncture in their repertoire. And I seriously doubt if you got your MD from Cuba you could practice in America (but I could be wrong). Degrees from the Caribbean Islands and such are laughed at.
Cuba has a much better, cheaper, and more effective healthcare system than we.
International agencies rate them very high...with just about every one of them rating Cuba higher than us.
I placed a Chinese female MD in Portland to shadow another Chinese female MD.. Big mistake.. One spoke Mandarin and the other spoke Cantonese and they hated each other on sight. The Mandarin doctor said her patients were offended.
Hopefully one of those foreign doctors will fuck up something with you.
