States With Stricter Gun Laws Have Lower Gun Death Rates Because Gun Laws Work

Sorry but the second gives Americans the power to shoot people. We are at peace with slaughtering our population with increasingly more dangerous weapons. Over 1200 kids died from guns last year, just like the founders wanted.

What part of the 2nd amendment grants the power to shoot people?

Sarcastic BS. According to the anti-gun CDC, guns are sued millions of times each year to prevent crime and protect lives. Think how much worse things would be if people didn't have that protection. A good chunk of our current problem is due to rampant ignorance about firearms. Putting gun safety education in our public schools would be a good start.

We had those classes when I was in 6th. grade. You whiny anti-hunting and animal rights loving liberals complained and they dropped them.

I had no exposure to anything larger than a BB gun until I enlisted in the Air Force.

There is no argument. If we confiscated all the guns, there would be no shootings. We would have a much safer society.

The second amendment is silent on military rifles and bazookas. We all know we have to draw lines. The NRA is working for gun manufacturers. This is America. People dying and getting wounded is ignored for profit. How many millions of dollars go to healthcare trying to save the wounded. Perhaps the gun manufacturers should absorb that cost.

but you won't confiscate all the guns......you'll stop when you keep law abiding people from having guns.......you don't give a fuck what criminals do or you would take action against them instead........

no?....well at least they have strict gun control and high homicide rates, so they are part way there........

Their gun control isn't actually all that strict. And most of the guns used in Chicago homicides come from other cities.
I'm all for states' rights, but the truth is gun control won't work if it's only a few states doing it. We need the whole country to wake up.

Won't work. A little thing called the Constitution gets in your way.

Scarymommy???? That's your source? This analysis is a fallacy because it presumes that the reason for a lower gun death rate is that criminals abide by our laws. Or that criminals cannot get the guns due to the laws. That is a lie.

Secondly, you are looking at RATES which is dishonest statistic to use and is typical with leftist sites trying to justify the idiotic claim that laws prevent criminal activity. The correct analysis is NUMBER of homicides, not including suicides by State.

For instance, there were 1,368 California homicides last year. In Alaska, one of the "high rate" states, there were 180. Yet you claim Alaska is worse by looking at the "rate". It is an attempt to lie and be dishonest.

Gun deaths are up by 18% in California despite stricter gun laws. Those are the FACTS. Using rates is dishonest.

STFU you assclown.

Absurdity; a sure sign of the last desperate refuge for liars, fools and ignorance; and those who have lost their arguments. Yay you!

That autistic screeching, tho.

But I thought gun laws don't work.
That's what the people who want to sell you lots of guns keep saying.

What mass shootings did our gun laws prevent? Let me answer that for you; ZERO. It's stupid to think that criminals will obey laws or that guns are the reason criminals murder.
