States With Stricter Gun Laws Have Lower Gun Death Rates Because Gun Laws Work

Brazil also has more poverty and government corruption. It's more accurate to compare America to other first world rich countries.
So what you're saying is that gun control laws are irrelevant. There are other factors that have far more influence.

That too. Which is one of the reasons we should make all drugs legal.
Start with marijuana, then other drugs. Start treating it like a social issue instead of a criminal issue. At least try to look as if we learned something from the failure of Prohibition.

Truth deflector is doing a real disservice to serious-minded gun fans. He shows how emotional and aggressive many pro-gunners are. He insults and bullies like Trump. Calls people foul names and thinks he is making an intelligent case for guns. He is an example of why some people should not have weapons. A guy with his lack of control and no respect for others is able to buy guns. He should not be allowed near a gun.

And you never insult people? Gee, another leftist hypocrite. Shocking.

Actually, they have far worse problems. Brazil, for example, with about 2/3 our population, in a typical year has about twice as many firearm homicides as we do. And that's with very strict gun control laws.

Hello rjhenn,

There's no evidence that any gun control law has ever made things better. At best, they don't make things worse. Gun control laws only ‘work' if they were unnecessary in the first place.

No evidence which you'll accept, anyway.

For Gabby Giffords, it would be incontrovertible.

Another one that makes claims about whether or not someone else should own guns. I have an idea. Make a list of those you don't think should own guns, get off your ass, and personally try to take them from those on that list.

You think he's dumb enough to take you up on that suggestion?

I guess responding to your hateful posts
There is nothing hateful about defending the Constitution of the United States.
would be insulting to you.
You don't get to speak for him. You can only speak for yourself.
I actually try not be be nasty.
Lie.

Inversion fallacy.

There is no argument.
Apparently you don't know what an argument is.
If we confiscated all the guns, there would be no shootings. We would have a much safer society.
No, you would have a war. That is NOT safer for society.
The second amendment is silent on military rifles and bazookas.
Which means people can own and shoot them.
We all know we have to draw lines.
Why?
The NRA is working for gun manufacturers.
No, they are not. They are not employed by a single gun manufacturer.
This is America.
Good for you. You know where you are.
People dying and getting wounded is ignored for profit.
Strawman fallacy. People will die. Everyone dies. People will get wounded whether there are guns around or not.
How many millions of dollars go to healthcare trying to save the wounded.
They don't try. They do.
Perhaps the gun manufacturers should absorb that cost.
You are blaming the car, and not the driver, for the traffic accident. You're a moron.
