Disarm & incarcerate the criminals first, then we can talk about how to best arm ourselves in the event of government overreach. We can have gun control without banning all guns.

Yes they do. He just gave examples of them. Argument of the Stone fallacy.
False dichotomy fallacy and strawman fallacy. rjhenn's statement is accurate.
They once were. We didn't have the problems then as now, either.
so how do we solve the gang problem without dispatching the military to wipe them out?Actually there are more violent drug gangs now.

No evidence that anyone except a control freak would accept. All I ever hear as 'evidence' are examples of countries that didn't have a problem with guns before they had any gun control laws and continued to not have any problems after. That, or examples of a reduction in the gun homicide rate without any reduction in the overall homicide rate. If just as many people are dieing, where's the improvement? There's never any case where a gun control law has actually made things better.Hello rjhenn,
No evidence which you'll accept, anyway.
For Gabby Giffords, it would be incontrovertible.
All of the available evidence tells us that gun control doesn't work.We can have gun control without banning all guns.
You made the fallacy fallacy.
Fallacy fallacy.
Actually there are more violent drug gangs now.

I don't think having guns will stop government overreach at all. If that's one of your reasons for owning a gun, that's fine with me. I'm more concerned in keeping guns away from criminals and people who are mentally ill.
Brazil, and Australia's Northern Territory. There's also the fact that Canada's homicide rate keeps rising, fueled by gang violence and increases in gun violence, leading to calls for even stricter gun laws. Yes, even more of the same thing that's already not working. That's sane.Brazil [emoji38]up:
So you agree.
You can't.
Why? Because you're mentally ill and you have a gun?
YOU don't get to declare who is mentally ill. You are not the king.
You think he's dumb enough to take you up on that suggestion?
