Totally incorrect. Pollsters exist to make money. They research their markets ... and sell hope. It does not need to be accurate and no poll ever has to "get it right.". Polls are "bought" and cited by those who desire those outcomes. Their only responsibility is to make a concerted effort to give the appearance that the poll was totally neutral and unbiased ... but all are totally biased to appeal/resonate with the target audience.
