You missed the point...being an ignorant liberal. Did you miss the word "uniform"? Now enlighten us just how a "progressive" tax is UNIFORM in nature...where one's success is taxed higher than someone who is not as successful. That type of TAXATION required an AMENDMENT in order to be Constitutional. Why? Because, just like SSA....its a ponzi scheme used to redistribute wealth from the haves to the have nots.....the problem is the left not only spent the monies they have taken from successful free market capitalists (all goods and services purchased by free will choice)....they have placed some 20 trillion on THE PEOPLES CREDIT CARD.

The prof that UNIFORM must mean UNIFORM would be the fact that an AMENDMENT to the CONSTITUTION was required in order to implement such a tax plan that would discriminate against success.

To be uniform the same tax would be applied to everyone at the same rate. If Joe Blow gets taxed 10% then Bill Blow (regardless of income) must be taxed at 10%. In such a system everything is UNIFORM as 10% of 1 million is far greater than 10% of 1 thousand dollars. Everyone pays...equality.

You are stupid. The founders opposed a direct tax on income. It was long held to be a tenet of the Constitution which is how we got the 16th Amendment. If what you say is true, then there would have been no need for the 16th Amendment you dumb ass
