The Trinity

Never said "proselytize." Quit worrying about my personal data and pay attention to what I write.

Ok. I guess I assumed they were proselytizing as part of saying you're wrong for not being in their religion. Those two generally go hand in hand. If you had to guess, how many Christians have taken joy in saying you're wrong for not being in their religion?

20,000

20,000? Wow. That's a LOT!

You don't strike me as being old. I'd guess you're in your 40's, but I could be way off. If you want to share your age, I can do the math.

IF you're 54 years old, that would mean that one Christian has told you you're wrong, and taken joy in it, every single day of your life since birth! Obviously, a newborn isn't going to understand, much less remember such an event. If we start at age 10, that would make you 64. So, once a day, every single day since age 10, a Christian has told you you're wrong and taken joy in it.

If you're younger, now we're talking about more than once per day on average.

That's pretty amazing!

I'm curious too. I live in Texas and know many Christians. Not a single one of them has chided me for not going to church or believing as they do. Not once in 28 years.

I've had a few Mormons show up at my door, but they politely leave when I say I'm not interested.

I once got invited to a prayer meeting. But that's only because he was my friend, and I just asked him out of curiosity what they talked about at the meetings.

If I am watching a televangelist on TV that's my fault, because I tuned into the channel. That's how I know about Joel Osteen, I watched him for a few minutes here and there

I’ve had a few Mormon youngsters and Jehovah’s Witness people show up. They were polite. I haven’t seen any in the past 10 years or so ever since I put up my “no solicitors” and “trespassers will be shot” signs.

It is pretty much the DEFINITION of judgemental.

It is not up to you to sit at the Right hand of the Father and to come to judge the quick and the dead.

And it really is one of the worst things many Christians do. It feels like they are fantasizing about people who disagree with them being tortured for eternity. That's why it's not a good look for a Christian. Especially when done with a significant dose of snark and bile.

To be quite honest: it is one of those things that drives some away from religion altogether. Is that the Witness you wish to provide?
sorry but the problem is your ignorance regarding Christianity......that has nothing to do with MY judgment....it is Biblical doctrine and your choice......believe and be saved.....I am not judging whether you believe......you have already chosen not to believe......and you have made your choice public......is there anything else to discuss?......

So you feel you can judge, because you sit at the Right hand of the Father. Got it.

silly fool.....you are voicing your opinion on which Christians are the good ones.......THAT is judgemental......

Not at all, hatemonger. I merely noted that BP was wrong in suggesting all interactions with Christians were negative.

I honestly wish you were smarter and more honest and a little more Christian in your actions. But your witness for Christ rings loud and clear for all to hear. I'll leave it up to you figure out if it is a message Christ would appreciate.

"you are wrong".........
