I think all organized religions are pretty fucked up. I rationally agree with the basic philosophy of jesus christ, but I think christianity as hijacked as a vehicle of imperialism has blown for some time now.

They will decapitate athiests as well, stupidass.

Where the fuck do you live that you fear decapitation so much?

In the unlikely scenario that an angry Muslim jihadist busts into my house trying to behead me, I will shoot him in the face with my .45.

You think Christians didn't lynch people dumbass? The Ku Klux Klan is still pretty strong where I live. As recently as a year ago a black family in my area had a cross burned into their yard by the "noble Christian Knights".

There is nothing dangerous about a pious, nonviolent Muslim living out his/her life in America paying taxes and contributing to society. If you fear that, then you are a xenophobe. Once you concede that such a person is not harmful to you, which he/she isn't, then you see why banning an entire religion is infeasible and un-American. I don't even have to show you the numerous Islamic condemnations of al-Qaeda and bin Laden's tactics to prove how few Muslims worldwide support such extremism.

It's more likely it will be a gradual intimidation of non muslims and islamicization of society under the guise of "tolerance" and continued villainization of other faiths by, as previously mentioned, the cypress wing of the democrat party, who are totally brainwashed nihilist anti-self warriors who believe they only can only prove their "non racism" and hoighty toighty-ness by actively destroying their culture of origin. The Moors in Spain, and the Almohad dynasty were Muslims who protected the rights of of Christians and Jews to worship as they please. I can tell that you have never read the Q'uran or you would know that it instructs pious Muslims to respect the other religions of the Book. History is rife with examples of Muslim religious tolerance and Christian intolerance. The Crusades, the 30 Years War, and others were begun for primarily religious reasons.

This is not to say that Christianity is inherently intolerant or that Islam is inheritly opposite. I use these examples to show you that within all faiths there are people who will seek to murder others for perceived favor from their God. If you were truly concerned about religious violence, you would propose outlawing religion. Instead, like every other believer of every faith, you believe that you're the one who is right and everyone else should just get on the same page. You are blind to the failings and crimes of your own religion.

That was an aberrant state for that religion. Doctrinally it is theocratic, intolerant, and metasticizes through violence. That was the example of it's founder mohammed.

I propose outlawing all totalitarian ideologies, even fundamentalist humanism.
 
Doctrinally, Christianity emphasizes a number of the same unpleasant things that Islam does. And a comparable percentage of Muslims and Christians are incited to violence from their religion.

Any group actively training arming and preaching violent wars of intolerance and apocalyptic violence, and gaining converts all over the world, needs a temporary chill pill. If it wasn't MUSLIMS DOING THIS BASED ON THE TEACHINGS AND EXAMPLES OF ISLAM I wouldn't be as concerned about islam. Violence and totalitarianism are not justified, even if you call it a religion. It's NAZI-esque to infringe upon someone's right to worship freely and peacefully. If they are not worshipping peacefully, then those who preach violence can and are prosecuted for inciting violence. You're addressing it as a problem which could be fixed by banning Islam in America. That would only serve to incite much more violence, and I don't believe that you are so stupid as to think that Muslims would react to such a move with anything other than increased hostility.

That would create a real hostility even among mainstream Muslims.
