No, I think that people have a right to believe as they will. Just as the Founders did.
You are the one who wants some sort of totalitarian solution to the religion "problem". I prefer to have the liberty to believe as I will, and to have such a freedom I will allow others the same respect.
And others already follow a religion like that. The attempt to make everybody believe that the entire religion is a "hate group" seems to have succeeded better with some than others. As I said, if you think they are suspect watch them. Otherwise there is nothing to force them to believe differently.
It's not totalitarian to prevent totalitarianism.
