Fake news.

Both of Crooks’ parents worked as social workers, according to state license records. His father is registered to vote as a Libertarian and his mother is registered as a Democrat, state voter records show...

A third classmate, who asked not to be named, said that Crooks was very smart, took honors classes, and was shy. She said that he had a group of friends who were fairly conservative, some of whom would wear Trump hats.

His mom's name is Mary Elizabeth, not Elena.

Nope he did early register to vote in 2018 or 19, in 2021 he gave the money. None of it gives enough information to determine his motive.
Nope. He was 15-16 in 2018-19 and you have to be 18 before you can register in PA. The earliest he could have registered is Sept. 2021, because that's when he turned 18.

Bad info.

You can pre register to vote in Pennsylvania so long as you will be 18 in the next election (not primary, regular election). However I am willing to concede my information on that may have been wrong. A bunch of stuff was coming out, and it doesn't meet the sniff test now... lol

You can pre-register to vote in Pennsylvania if you are at least 18 years old on the day of the next election.

You are wrong. Crooks registered to vote (and as a Republican) in September of 2022, the same month he turned 18.

In 2021, he donated $15 to ActBlue, and then a year later he registered as a Republican. He then spent two years talking about how conservative he was, and being a member of an extreme right wing gun club. Then he died.

He did not have a long political history, and did not post much about anything online.

He did search for rallies by Democrats in the area, and failing to find any major ones, moved on to search for Republican rallies. The one he found in the area who went to and tried to kill the speaker at. That certainly suggests that his first pick of targets was the Democrats, but in the end he did not care.
