Trump Engaged In ‘Outright Fraud’ To Help Family Save Hundreds Of Millions In Taxes

yes there was. i see how that works. Johnson is an investigative journalist specializing in economics and a Pulitzer prize winner. Yeah, not qualified like you.
I agree.....he is not as qualified to identify violations of IRS regulations as I am.......however, to be fair, I have never seen him actually say there were any IRS violations........now, if any of you arm chair lawyers would like to match a fact with a law I would be glad to listen......I can virtually guarantee that I will successfully rake you over the coals until you are crisp, but I am willing to watch you give it your best shot.......

Such a misplaced ego from a guy who cannot craft an intelligent response in rudimentary debates. You can guaranteee nothing. There are plent of tax experts who say what the trumps did was illegal, but past statutory date. that does not mean they did not do wrong, but may have gotten away with it.

You are a drive-by poster that assumes an unknown and unseen expertise that has surely never been demonstrated on this board. But somehow we shall all accept you know more than the NYT experts on economics? Not going to happen.

there hasn't been a single tax expert who has identified a single IRS regulation that was violated......I do not know more than a NYT expert in economics knows about economics.......I do however know more than a NYT expert on economics knows about tax regulations if he claims that family trusts and the IRS gift tax deduction are fraudulent.......

again, either cite a regulation and show facts that pose any question of any illegal act, or shove volume 456 of the federal registry of IRS regulations down your throat to shut yourself up.......one thing is perfectly clear.......YOU do not know more than a NYT expert on economics.......YOU do not know more than I do........YOU do not know more than the head janitor who gives you your job assignment every morning......go away until you have some facts.......

It is supposed to be state taxes that are after recovery. Of course childish insults. What else could you possibly have? nothing. Trump will get away with cheating the federal government, makes you very happy. But New York, maybe not.

cite a violated IRS regulation or stick the dildo back in your mouth......

Not my job. it is the function of the NY auditors who are looking into it. they are doing that. It is not for exercise. They see potential wrongdoing and are pursuing. I think they may even know as much as you pretend to know.

However the charges include Hiding transactions under shell companies, undervaluing property, creating fake invoices and false charges, and hundreds of subsidiary schemes and scams. Or as you say, just how you file taxes.

Trump Engaged In ‘Outright Fraud’ To Help Family Save Hundreds Of Millions In Taxes: NYT

The Times alleges that Trump set up a fake corporation to disguise millions of dollars in gifts from their parents.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in tax schemes that included cases of outright fraud in which he and his siblings helped their parents dodge taxes, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

The Times investigation, which a Trump lawyer said was inaccurate, showed Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate business, citing a “vast trove” of confidential tax return and financial records.

The Times reported that much of that fortune came to Trump because he helped his parents evade taxes, setting up a fake corporation with his siblings to disguise millions of dollars in gifts from their parents. During his presidential campaign, Trump promoted himself as a self-made real estate mogul who started out with only a “very small” loan from his businessman father, Fred Trump.”

The Times said its findings were based on more than 200 tax returns from Fred Trump, his companies and various Trump partnerships and trusts. The records did not include Donald Trump’s personal tax returns. Trump lawyer Charles Harder told the Times: “President Trump had virtually no involvement whatsoever with these matters.”

Harder added: “The affairs were handled by other Trump family members who were not experts themselves and therefore relied entirely upon the aforementioned licensed professionals to ensure full compliance with the law.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the report. Reuters has not been able to verify the report.

The New York State Tax Department said on Tuesday that it was probing the allegations laid out in the Times report.

The newspaper said the report was based on interviews with Fred Trump’s former employees and advisers and more than 100,000 pages of documents describing the inner workings of his business empire.

“The investigation also draws on tens of thousands of pages of confidential records — bank statements, financial audits, accounting ledgers, cash disbursement reports, invoices and canceled checks,” the Times said.

The entire world got to witness how entitled privilege works in american society with both Bart O'Kavanaugh's "hearings" and then the releasing of this info on Don. Our elites are all frauds. I thank Bart for losing his shit and thrashing about like the spoiled little boy of privilege both he and Don have always been. They are both sub par human beings not even rising to the level of mediocre, blowing apart the notion of meritocracy in american society.

All typical of the substantial people even as they foment austerity for the unsubstantial people.

this is not a battle of good and evil. The Repubs know what a lying prick Bretty is. It is about wielding the power they have to get their way. It is in your face politics, We will do whatever we want and you cannot stop us. They are weakening all the government isnstitutions including the FBI. IRS, Senate, Congress and now the Supremes. They want their dictator to have complete power. For some reason, the right is for that.

Every thing is legal and was cleared by the IRS. Next crisis. I hope the Trump family sues the Times out of existence. ;) It is the character of the deceased that is being defamed and smeared with lies suggesting that Trump's corporation did something illegal by taking advantage of the IRS codes. This will get interesting.....popcorn anyone? Is this the Oct. Surprise that was being saved by the TIMES to be released right before the midterms? To bad that Crying Chuckie and Corrupt "Lady" Feinstein have all the BAD PRESS, the Blue Collar Working stiffs in relation to the SCOTUS circus....exposing the TWO FACES of the fascist left that attempted to re-define the rule of law in the US code found in the Constitution by having the mule push the plow.....now one is guilty by accusation until they can prove their negative innocence. The perfect storm.....right before the midterms......the Silent Majority is more pissed than before the 2016 general election. Elections indeed have consequences.

After the midterms all THE PEOPLE need is for the child pedophile defender Ginsburg to take the big dirt nap. Game over for 30 years.

We are entering the age of the Plutocracy. The wealth gap, which equals the power gap, is worse than it has ever been. Ryan is pushing another 3 trillion in cuts for the elite. They do not need the money. it has nothing to do with that. it is all about remaking America into a Plutocracy. Soon the people will not have a meamingful voice. The super rich and their workers like Mcconnell and Ryan are creating a different America. it will be ugly if you are poor or middle class. It will not help the working class. The days of the European aristocracy are coming back.

None of this can be used to go after Trump, since the information was obtained without a warrant, and those who released it committed a felony.
