Federal election regulators fined Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee earlier this month for not properly disclosing the money they spent on controversial opposition research that led to the infamous Trump-Russia dossier.

The DNC was fined $105,000 and the Clinton campaign was fined $8,000, according to a letter sent by the Federal Election Commission to a conservative group that requested an inquiry.

Political candidates and groups are required to publicly disclose their spending to the FEC, and they must explain the purpose of any specific expenditure more than $200. The FEC concluded that the Clinton campaign and DNC misreported the money that funded the dossier, masking it as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting” instead of opposition research.

will the gander be treated the same as the goose?........

as I recall when the FEC examined Hilliary's campaign records and discovered that they had identified the money spent to create the false Russian collusion dossier as attorney fees rather than campaign expenditures they decided not to prosecute but treated it as a civil violation and simply required her campaign to repay the funds.....

You have a poor memory, and you lie.

Not the same thing, but I love the way you now use the person you felt was vile as your standard for what is acceptable.

perhaps you should read Earl's post, cuntselor......I expect if you went to a law school you are familiar with the term "a case on all fours"?.....

1) You lie.
2) Not the same.
3) "Hillary did it" would not be an excuse anyway.
4) We dont even know what Trump is to be charged with.

It is not illegal for a candidate to pay for any thing he wants to with his own money. The FEC is only worried about contributors money not being accounted for correctly. Trump has the right to pay for the hush money with his business funds because he owns the business. Remember Gary Hart. A contributor paid money for him and he STILL was found not guilty.

I'm sorry but where in the tax law does it say that hush money is a legal tax deduction for a business?

Trump is free to use the money from his companies however he wants. He is not free to falsify where the money went so he can take a tax deduction that he is not entitled to.

1..That is a strange accusation coming from you.
2. Yes it is
3. Shows a two tiered justice system and a Political prosecution.
4. We have very good idea because of unethical leaks by exuberant liberals

I'll let the prosecutor decide if there is enough evidence to charge a crime and courts can decide if there is enough evidence to convict for a crime. Too bad you don't believe in the justice system.
:rofl2: This is a guy that lets real criminals go who is twisting the law for political purposes. This is perversion of our justice system. It is a waste of tax payer dollars.
