Nicholas D. Johnson raped a 14-year-old girl who was one of his students at a cheerleading school, police said.

He is facing charges of aggravated rape of a child, enticement of a child under the age of 16 and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Johnson met the victim at the Full House All Star Cheer Gym, where he was an instructor and the victim was a student, police said.

Johnson drove the girl from the school to his apartment where he raped her, Brockton Police Lt. Kenneth LeGrice said.

At one point, the victim sent Johnson illicit photos of herself on a cell phone, LeGrice said.

The girl told a friend what happened and West Bridgewater Police were notified.

Police approached Johnson about the rape allegations, according to a statement from the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.

Johnson had agreed to meet with investigators at the police station but never showed up to the meeting. A short time later he drove his car off the road on Route 24 and suffered minor injuries.

He was arrested and was arraigned in Brockton District Court and pleaded not guilty and as of Tuesday was still being held on $50,000 bail.

Johnson was fired from the studio, prosecutors said. He was employed there for about a year as the victim's gymnastic coach, prosecutors said.

It is unclear if any other victims had come forward.

A Florida man helped to plan the violent murder of his wife, a popular doctor, in order to collect millions of dollars in insurance money, investigators allege in newly released court documents.

Teresa Sievers, 46, was found murdered on June 29 inside her Bonita Springs home. Authorities believe she had been bludgeoned with a hammer.

Curtis Wayne Wright, 47, and Jimmy Ray Rodgers, 25, have been arrested in connection with the killing. At this point her husband Mark Sievers has not been charged, as the investigation is ongoing. Documents released Tuesday reflect evidence collected by authorities, and connect the husband to the mysterious murder for the first time.

A Cleveland-area teen missing for nearly a month was found at a house in eastern Missouri where she was held captive by a 41-year-old man she met online, authorities said Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors said the man had sex with the 15-year-old Ohio girl several times, destroyed her cellphone and told her to change her appearance and use a different name.

Christopher Schroeder of Marthasville, Missouri, was charged with transporting a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity. Val Joyner, a spokeswoman for the St. Charles County Police, said state charges were being sought as well.

David Ford, 38, was indicted by a Clermont County grand jury on three counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of felonious assault.

The grand jury also added a repeat violent offender specification to the indictment, which could add up to an additional 10 years in prison to his sentence, if he is convicted.

Officials said the victim's neighbor called 911 and reported a domestic dispute in Bethel.

Police found that the homeowner had been confronted by an unknown man who entered her residence without consent. The intruder assaulted the female, breaking her nose, then forced her to remove her clothing and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The assault was interrupted by a neighbor who arrived at the victim’s residence, causing Ford to flee, police said.

Investigators said Ford is a registered sex offender out of Franklin County, Ohio, and is currently on parole in Ohio for failing to register as a sex offender.

Law enforcement authorities launched an investigation Thursday into a video that allegedly shows the Texas teen from a wealthy family who killed four people while driving drunk among revelers at a party, possibly in violation of his probation.

The teen, tried in juvenile court, was spared prison, but his sentence of 10 years’ probation for intoxication manslaughter prohibits him from drinking. A psychologist called as an expert witness by his lawyers said the teen had “affluenza,” a condition in which enormous wealth kept him from being responsible for his actions.

The American Psychiatric Association does not recognize “affluenza” as a diagnosis. The probation sentence ignited a public backlash, with many saying family wealth helped shield the youth from more serious punishment.

“We are aware of it and are investigating the claims,” said Samantha Jordan, a spokeswoman for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.

The six-second video was posted on Twitter by a user on Wednesday. It shows a few people around a table covered with red plastic cups and cans of beer in a game of beer pong.

As a young man dives onto the table, the camera pans to show a male resembling the wealthy teen jumping and clapping at the sight.

A Twitter user who goes by the handle @BlondeSpectre wrote: “ya boy … violating probation. i got more if u want.”

The teen, who was 16 at the time of the deadly crash, had a blood-alcohol level that was nearly three times the legal limit when he was speeding and lost control of his pickup truck.

The truck struck the driver of a car that had broken down by the side of the road and three other people who had stopped to help the stranded motorist in June 2013.

Four other people were injured, two seriously, in the crash south of Fort Worth.

Davis police are seeking the public’s help in tracking down a suspect in a sexual assault attempt.

Brandon Allan Clark, 32, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the incident, in which he allegedly tried to assault a 30-year-old woman, Lt. Paul Doroshov said.

Clark pushed her down, told her he would sexually assault her and threatened to kill her.

She was able to fight Clark off and flee.

Police have since obtained an arrest warrant for Clark charging him with assault with intent to commit rape, false imprisonment, criminal threats, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violations.

Doroshov said the weapon charge stems from a bolt action rifle that was found.

Cottonwood Police have arrested four people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man from Goodyear.

Police responded to a home on 2nd Street in Cottonwood and found several people leaving the scene in a red SUV. They detained the vehicle, and inside a nearby home they found a man deceased. The victim was identified as a 27-year-old man from Goodyear.

Officers interviewed the homeowner, who was bleeding from the head. He told police he and his friend were working on a vehicle when three men ran towards them. When the two ran into the home, the three people forced their way inside and a fight broke out, the man told police.

Shots were fired during the struggle, and the man and his friend ran out of the home, police say, when a red SUV, driven by a woman, tried to run them both over. The gunshot wound victim was taken to the hospital for medical attention and later passed away, police say.
