A Pennsylvania woman was found safe and her ex-boyfriend was arrested after authorities used her mother's "Find My iPhone" app to track them down.

Joseph Boller, 18, had tied up the woman's hands, feet and mouth with duct tape and forced her into the trunk of a car after they met to discuss custody of a child.

A Guardian crossword answer yesterday was 'Kalamazoo' (which baffled most of us over here), and today an NRA-type was active there doing the bang-bangs. Clearly there is a plot, and Mr Trump will need to follow it up.

A Sioux Falls man has been arrested and charged with killing a woman, police say.

Garrett Solorzano, 33, is being held at the Minnehaha County Jail on a first-degree murder charge, Sgt. Shaun Olson said.

Police and emergency crews were called for a report of a woman having a cardiac arrest, Olson said. When crews arrived, the woman, 37, was pronounced dead.

After an investigation, police determined that the death was a result of foul play, and Solorzano was arrested at the residence, Olson said. Police haven't released the name of the victim, but Olson said Solorzano and the victim knew each other.

Solorzano had been living on the ground floor of the home with his wife since November 2015, said the property's landlord Roger Kelly.

"They were actually good tenants," Kelly said. "I never heard any arguing or stress between them."

Kelly bought the property in 2007 and had never had any serious issues with tenants there.

"I didn't see something like this happening," he said.

According to his Facebook and LinkedIn pages, Solorzano previously served in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell on the border between Tennessee and Kentucky. He had served a few tours of military duty, Kelly said.

An early-morning robbery goes wrong for one of the suspects - who ended up detained by the alleged victim of the crime.

Chattanooga Police say they got a call of a home invasion and robbery at the house.

Police say the 47-year-old James Shrum and 25-year-old Hillary Schooley were woken and threatened with an electronic stun gun by one suspect.

Authorities say the victim's money and belongings were gathered by two additional suspects.

Police say the victim disarmed 25-year-old Brandon Bettis holding the stun gun then chased him down and detained him until police arrived.

Bettis was interviewed by Chattanooga Police robbery investigators, and arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail after being treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained during his apprehension by the victim.

Police have arrested a man they say broke into a sorority house and stole underwear.

The Edmond Police Department reports that at 2:40 a.m., an officer was called to the Alpha Delta Pi house, 303 E. Ayers St., after a man was discovered inside the home.

A woman told police she was inside the house asleep when she woke up at 2 a.m. to 41-year-old Randell Ashton sitting on her bed.

When the woman asked Ashton what he was doing, he said, "You are not Brittany." Ashton then allegedly stood up, pulled his pants up and left the room.

The woman could hear Ashton walking up and down the hallway of the home, attempting to open doors to other rooms. She then texted a friend, who called 911.

When officers arrived, they took Ashton into custody. Ashton told police he was at the home to meet a 21-year-old girl named Bethany. The residents of the home told police that no one named Bethany lived at the home.

As police investigated the home, they discovered Ashton had dropped three pornographic magazines while wandering around the home. Police report that seven young women were at the home at the time of the incident.

While Ashton was being booked into jail, they discovered he was wearing women's underwear. One of the home's residents reported missing underwear.

Waukesha police have announced the arrest of a man accused of using his photography business as a way to attempt to meet and take nude photos of young girls.

The accused is 73-year-old James Swanson, who is facing one count of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.

Police say during an investigation, they learned Swanson was charged with first degree sexual assault of a child in 1989.

Police say he was also arrested in 2001 for taking topless photos of a 16-year-old girl — but he was never charged in that case.

A cancer surgeon with a God complex boasted that her job saving lives made her far superior to the lowly NYPD officers who hauled her away in cuffs for hitting a cop with her car in Midtown.

“I am a doctor. I have patients who are dying. I’m the hero; the cops are not!” Dr. Rachel Wellner, 40, told police when she was arrested for striking an officer’s leg with her Volvo on Thursday to avoid a parking ticket, prosecutors said at her arraignment.

A man convicted of raping a 6-year-old Nashville girl has been sentenced to 26 years in prison, prosecutors said Monday.

Brandon Clymer, 31, was sentenced after a Davidson County jury found him guilty of one count of child rape, according to information released Monday from the Office of the District Attorney General.

Assistant District Attorney Chad Butler said the victim reported the crime to her mother as soon as it happened and was able to give a detailed description, which, according to a news release, aided in prosecution against Clymer.

“Because the little girl’s mother talked to her at an early age about her body, inappropriate touching and abuse, she knew that the defendant’s actions were wrong and should be reported,” Butler wrote in the release.

Stephen Howard, an Auburn University lab technician who pleaded guilty to selling date rape drugs, will be sentenced Wednesday in federal court.

“Evidence uncovered during the investigation indicated that Howard unlawfully used his position as a lab technician at Auburn University to order the butanediol, or date rape drug, from the manufacturer,” stated a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Middle District of Alabama.

Howard’s arrest came as the result of an undercover operation by the Auburn Police Department and FBI.

A Claremore man pleaded no contest in the kidnapping and rape of a child.

Michael Slatton faced 10 charges connected to that crime, including first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation, kidnapping and assault and battery on a police officer.

He appeared in a Tulsa courtroom Tuesday and made the "no contest" plea.

Also on Tuesday, Slatton pleaded guilty in subsequent charges - where he was accused of throwing a water pitcher at an assistant district attorney and throwing feces at a jailer.

Next up will be a pre-sentencing investigation, and then a judge will decide what punishment Slatton will get in April. The maximum sentence he could receive is life without parole.

The child was 8 years old.
