Universal Healthcare Voted Into Law!

Lol.

I've been talking online with several Canadians and Australians who can't grasp why we Americans don't have universal healthcare yet. One Canadian man told me that he had emergency surgery after a stroke. He saw several specialists and spent some weeks in the hospital?

His bill?

$0.00
Wow. So it was free? :)

Its far better when the money comes from the government, than private health care companies who are more concerned with profits.

When the money comes from the gubmint it’s fraught with fraud, waste and abuse (I’ve seen it up close, still do).
Private insurance - profit.
Choose your poison.

Maybe America is too stupid to figure it out.

Those Canadians and Australians have obviously never been to the DMV.

If you dont think, dont know, there is fraud, waste and abuse in private insurance, you aint very bright.

because I don't have the powers of the GAO........all I can do is open my eyes and stop ignoring the truth........can you say the same?.....

if you say something then prove it, otherwise its just chalked up to typical right wing bull shit. Your personal opinion on any subject means shit.

just less than there is in anything run by the government.......

Way less. In fact , ins. companies have far more safeguards and oversight in place. They have more incentive.
Commit fraud against them and they lose money. Commit fraud against govt., they just meander on.
Add to that, it takes an act of congress to fire a government employee, consequently a much higher percentage of them are content to show up ( or not) and collect a paycheck.
It’s very easy to commit fraud against the gubmint and get away with it. At least in medicine and dentistry.
I’ve seen it firsthand and still do.
