Unthinkable? Will Bush Cancel The 2008 Election?

Um, Kbr accounced that contract, and it was for "temporary detention camps".

this is no conspiracy theory. I am so sick and tired of people with their conspiracy theory bullshit.

For Christ sakes, the company's own PR department released the information.

Whatever, stick your heads in the sand, but I will tell you all right now, (cawacko I hope you are listening too), don't ever even imply to me that I'm a tinfoil hat person.

I read the fucking news.
For "christ's sake", as I stated, to me it is the expansion of the previous theory that "permanent camps" were being set up by the NWO and that the Chinese were going to take us over and if we didn't like it we were going to the camps.

Which is an extension of why we have those incomprehensible signs on the side of roads and highways, the Chinese were going to use them so they could get around without getting lost.

Tell me, Darla. If millions of people were going to camps do you think we'd notice?

No I don't think they've been used yet, obviously.

But they will be. They weren't built for nothing. Or at least, someone is envisioning them being used. And when you read about the Nixon adminstration, having, and in writing Damo, a plan that would have put anti-war protesters in camps, and when you know where Cheney came from, to call someone paranoid for making that connection is just naive and insulting.

They will be used if we have another terrorist attack.

I have not said that they were naive. I said that using "fear tactics" to combat "fear tactics" makes them the same as the people they are "fighting".

Education is the balm for the fear tactic, and it is best to plan a response rather than make others "fear" what you want them to.

In short, when both sides use fear tactics and nobody makes a plan to combat what they want you to fear all you are left with is a vague sense of unease. The attempt to make me "fear" them because they use "fear" tactics isn't going to work.

I can't believe that somebody who posts this direct danger from a government is somebody who says that we don't need any weapons to protect ourselves from the government.

I was planning a response with my two friends last night. But that's personal plans for when the next "attack" takes place, and we have bright red bulls eyes on our foreheads.

It's not that we don't need them, it's that you can never hope to be armed to the extent you'd have to be to take on that fight.

I'm not "using fear tactics". I've become personally concerned.

And Damo, your own friend BB would be the first one to put me in a camp, and don't even deny it. If he had that power he would, and call himself a "patriot".

Is he alone? No.

And there are others on your side that would put him in a camp as a "danger" to the liberties of others. As they were doing it they would pat themselves on the back and talk themselves up as the saviors of freedom.

I don't know anyone who would do that, and then of course, we don't have camps. They do.

Where do you think the camps would go if Clinton wins the next election?

And that you personally do not know them doesn't mean that they don't exist. Some of the most eggregious crimes against humanity have been committed in the name of that "freedom". Stalin and Mao are just two examples.

Be afraid of "them" but not "us" because we are benevolent. Crap, you guys were in charge when these laws were passed that put all those people in prison for idiotic drug laws.

Closed hopefully. They weren't built when Bill was President, after all.

What if one side really is worse than than the other? But that's something you'd never even let in.

Regardless, one side has power. And it's never been anti-war protesters, ok? So get real. BB in my opinion, is a fine example of the mindset of national law enforcement. Not local, national. Ignore it because it makes you uncomfortable, but I won't ignore it.

Except they were, many of the theories began when he was in office, as well as the pictures of those "camps". The whole idea that they are suddenly going to start throwing millions of people in these camps with no reaction from the populace, and that those in the military would just go along with it is "Fear Tactic 101". It's something to be skeptical about on a large scale.

People in the US would not stand for it. It may take a while to wake people up, but there is no need to take on the same fear tactics that you accuse the other side of using in order to seemingly wake them up. Especially when the only response is, "She'll take them down, won't she?"

In short, you have no evidence that the election of "your side" will end any such plans and you use the exact same "fear tactics" to elect somebody that you have no evidence will do anything about it. Who, in fact, doesn't ever even mention it.

Bullshit damo. The elites just told us we don't deserve a country and most people seem unconcerned. They will stand for it. As long as we call them racists, or terrorists, or illegals or whatever. Every "point of view" has a villiefied other implanted into it's memescape. Those damn globalists!

One minute you post that you think it won't happen because Americans won't stand for it (global government) then in the next you come in here and say that they'd love to be put in prison camps because they are taught they deserve no country.

Which is it Asshat? Do you think the NWO will be successful or not?

Wow, talk about no evidence, did you read your previous post?

THESE WEREN'T BUILT until Bush was in office and built them. I don't know what pictures Art Bell was waiving around in the 90's claiming that Clinton was going to put you guys in camps, and I don't care.

We are now talking about facts, not mindless and paranoid speculation.

They've been built. They are not a "theory".

No, the ones you specifically talk about weren't built until Bush was in office, as I stated the pictures began long before he took office and Clinton was the bad guy.

One more time, when has Clinton, or Obama, or Edwards, or any of them for that matter promised to close any of these down or even mentioned them on a campaign trail? In fact did you recently see the "compromise" where congress agreed it was okay to listen to communications routed through the US?

You have no evidence that they will do anything about them.

I do not believe that one side or the other is "better" I believe that less is better and strongly believe in individual freedom. That the individual is the ultimate minority and it is for the individual that protections were written into our constitution.

But Damo, what are these pictures you are talking about? Pictures of what?

I have mounting concern that this adminstration will do something with them. I've never lived under an adminstration like this one, and want to get rid of them. You want me to theorize about what may or may not happen or be said in some future adminstration. I don't have that luxury. This one must go.

Pictures of the "camps". And this one will go. In less than two years, notice how I ask about "your" candidates... There's these things we call elections, that aren't going to be cancelled. In fact that was my point from the beginning, it is "Fear Tactic 101" to be attempting to make people "Fear THEM"...

1. Elections are not going to be cancelled.
2. Stating they are is a fear tactic.
3. Unfortunately there are people who do fear them and this will work.
4. The "other side" will use the same tactic.
5. Some people, unfortunately, will believe that it is reason to vote for them because they fear "the terrorists" or whatever group they bring forward for their propaganda.

Instead of dialogue all we get nowadays is "Fear Tactic" politics. I'm sick of it. This was my point in this thread.

Secondary, my point is, there are enough Americans that value personal freedoms and are armed that will not stand for "camps". Much of them are in the Military that you attempt to add to your "fear tactics" and say that I shouldn't arm myself because I can't fight them...

I won't have to, but if I do, I'd sure as heck rather have something other than rocks and potatoes.
