Team Trump. http://www.conservativemyths.com/Trump-TeamChickenhawk2.gif

"At the heart of Donald Trump’s talk of a “rigged” election lies one incontrovertible fact that eats away at him: He is getting his butt kicked by a girl.

Trump can try to pass off his misogyny as “locker-room talk.” He can repeat over and over that “no one has more respect for women than me.” His wife can proclaim with a straight face that he was egged on by someone else to make the comments caught on tape by “Access Hollywood,” which were all just “boys being boys.”" http://www.salon.com/2016/10/19/don...tt-kicked-by-a-girl-is-just-too-much-for-him/

McCain stayed @ the Hanoi Hilton, was it really a Hilton??

To be fair to McCain, he had it a lot worse than the man did in the video.

I had an uncle who was in a German POW camp and he told me that him and the guys were treated well by their captors. I suspect that this was due to the knowledge that the Germans hoped that they would eventually be surrendering to the western allies and not the Russians. That's just an opinion but it makes sense.

You would think the vets would have known this was coming. Which foot is it? LOL

"You look into Trump’s eyes and you see the fear and confusion of a man who has just been told he’s got stage-four cervical cancer. He is a super-villain in a world without heroes, a man so obnoxious and unhappy that karma may see him reincarnated as himself. You kind of wish he’d get therapy, but at this stage it’s like hiring a window cleaner for a burning building. It’s still difficult to classify him exactly: he’s not a classic Nazi, but would burn books if his supporters knew how to read. Hillary Clinton was obviously the preferred establishment candidate, and whoever was on the rota for this election cycle at the Illuminati really dropped the ball, but Trump is still very much someone that the permanent powers have assessed they can work with."

LOL if you don't know what foot got you out of the draft and service to your nation is it any wonder his so called presidency is a joke. Bookies are taking bets on how long before he is impeached, but I must say Pence is another kind of nut and possibly worse than Trump. Reagan at least had bright people around him, Trump has fools.

"Trump often asks simple questions about policies, proposals and personnel. And, when discussions get bogged down in details, the president has been known to quickly change the subject — to "seem in control at all times," one senior government official said — or direct questions about details to his chief strategist Steve Bannon, his son-in-law Jared Kushner or House Speaker Paul Ryan. Trump has privately expressed disbelief over the ability of judges, bureaucrats or lawmakers to delay — or even stop — him from filling positions and implementing policies."

If they activate the draft, make it a fair draft with very little options for deferments. No more pulling strings for privileged people.

While I agree in principle many are unable to serve for physical or mental issues - I'll leave Threedee types out of this comment as they think service to the nation slavery, kinda like Donald Trump. I knew several soldiers who were physically unable and a few who actually had mental breakdowns in basic training. For those people other service could be an option, say community tutoring or even clean up work? And how about soldiers who received Dear John letters, a few went off the deep end. But Americans today are spoiled and hard work or service to a cause interferes with their texting and selfies.

"Something is profoundly wrong with the way we live today. For thirty years we have made a virtue out of the pursuit of material self-interest: indeed, this very pursuit now constitutes whatever remains of our sense of collective purpose. We know what things cost but have no idea what they are worth. We no longer ask of a judicial ruling or a legislative act: is it good? Is it fair? Is it just? Is it right? Will it help bring about a better society or a better world? Those used to be the political questions, even if they invited no easy answers. We must learn once again to pose them." Why do veterans support Trump? Do they really think he will change the republican party's policies? Trump like so many republicans was a draft dodger. Lots of men were, I've only met one in my life who was honest and admitted getting a exemption. And while the lower classes served, the upper classes hide. And face it folks, bringing back the draft would create more crying than a Dear John. When Trump beats his chest like some superman, I have to laugh, when he had the chance to serve he too hide. So why the support? And this question is about policy, not the usual equivalency apologetic rebuttal.

"Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home -but not for housing. They are strong for labor - but they are stronger for restricting labor's rights. They favor minimum wage - the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all - but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine - for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing - but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing - so long as it doesn't spread to all the people. And they admire of Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it." Harry S. Truman

Once again you bloviate a tome built on a false claim; link us up to Trump being a draft dodger.

I guess liberals erupting with this stupidity are also willing to call Clinton one right?

Dumb.

& I agree w/ that....... What I do not agree w/ is the utter disrespect he has shown to ppl like McCain......... I don't care one bit for McCain, but what trumpf did to him & will not apologize for his simply shameful & shows what a real POS he is.........

I'm amused by the moronic leftist belief that McCain, or anyone else, is free to cast stones at Trump, but the man should not respond in kind. It's laughably stupid and pathetic.

In EVERY stupid claim about Trumps temperament, the truth is he didn't cast the first stone. But in liberal loony land, it is mean spirited to throw stones back.

It's obvious that leftists with TDS cannot comprehend the truth or the OBVIOUS. It is farcical to believe that one should respond to nasty criticisms with hugs.

I think it's something like 1/10th of 1 percent of the population is doing all the dirty work (the actual fighting.) I'm not against a fair draft, I think it would go a long way in deterring all these stupid no win wars these politicians keep getting us into if the general population becomes potentially involved with actually fighting in them.

Today America is trading with Vietnam, I have seen shirts in Macy's made there. Kinda makes you shake your head.

Another issue that I find sorta amazing is the number of foreign cars with veterans stickers on them. It is probably just me, but I find it hard to understand how a person who has served his country in uniform now supports other nations as so many complain about outsourcing and jobs?

The reason you cannot understand is due to your ignorance about those who serve. They are people just like everyone else with preferences and tastes that preclude the Fascist lock step mentality of the liberal left.

They support the Republican brand because it didn't spend decades impugning them and their missions.

Democrats spent every day of the Bush Presidency impugning the military like brain dead sheep while farcically proclaiming they are ALL heroes. On,y those who are out of touch with military lives make such dimwitted claims.

You've gotta love this MidCan rants. He asks a question claiming he doesn't understand, then argues with everyone who attempts to explain it to him.

:rofl2:

Liberal dishonesty is so transparent.

Huh? Asking a question you don't understand? You do realize what a question's purpose is? You exhibit confusion over language and ideas, thus you censor your threads so conflicting ideas don't compromise your bias and bigotry. Weak men are afraid of ideas. And there are lots of veterans in our family, did you read my profile? Posting several off the wall replies doesn't make you smart, but then again that isn't something you could claim given those replies.

Our draft dodger in charge,
Trump Airlines, failed
Trump Casinos, failed
Trump Marriages, failed
Trump Mortgage, failed
Trump University, failed
Trump Vodka, failed
Trump Steaks, failed
Bankruptcies, four so far, draft dodger Trump pays no taxes and cheats on taxes. So remind us again, what makes him such a winner. Oh enjoy supporting his family and him these next four years with your taxes, his one success was bamboozling insecure Americans that he was their savior. Good luck with that too.
